Thread: Bvh death files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
parkdalegardener:
I am going to make a quick clip with M4 then export the bvh file. I will make a copy of the bvh which needs editing and the newly made file, open them both and compare. Then I will edit the bvh file's joint names to match the ones from the bvh I made and save the newly edited file as .bvh.

Sound about right?

**Thank you again **

Animistreet actually has what you want but you will have to edit the BVH files slightly. The naming conventions are not the same as Poser's naming system. Just takes a few seconds in a text editor to fix the names.
ty. i will try this.
wolf thank you
i have used carnagie melon for other things but it didnt seen to have death. but thank you for the response.

thanks for the response
i had seen the dog tag before, but it was only in obj. format not really good for what i am doing.
i ended up taking a posable neck chain and attaching the badge which is an obj(but does not have to bend obviously).
ty for your suggestion
Thread: roach walk cycle | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
so i looked around and tried a few walk cycles, failing. however i did discover animating this bug myself is far easier few y trans with the feet and body z tran- presto it looks fine, you were right.
i think next time before looking for an "easy fix" i will try toying around on my own first.
thanx again

ockham that is great idea! actually both are and i certainly will try them. and i think you are right i can get away with some minimal leg movement plus the xz trans. btw the spider walk cycle did not work at all.
thanks again
btw once i am done with this project i will post the "tube" link for it.
thank you

Thread: resolution | Forum: Animation
hey mike
thanx for the response. your resolution is really good and the photo bg works well.
generally speaking my final result is preview(on account of time) but i anti alise- it has always felt smoother.
a few issues i have run into are hair, in preview it can be a nightmare, but i have found some that look good or settled for a body texture with hair(but it only really works for males). one sided texture on certian models, again found some that are not one sided or found a way around it. lastly i have noticed when rendering to avi some strange pixelation happens over certian surfaces- making the footage unuseable. for this i was alerted to the image export feature, which for the most part solves it.
and a certianly going to test out your technique.
thanx again
here is the kinda things i am working on http://www.youtube.com/user/darquevision

power potential is a good thing to keep in mind. i will toy around with the settings and retexturing (i think that might be a factor in that wierd image quailty.)
i am on 4 cores and i still feell some lag, then again i am impatient.
when it comes to technique- there alot of factors to consider. first and foremost style choice.
i have been playing with png export.- i like it(and the postwork options- stellar!) i just have to get the timing down.

ty artbee
i am going to try that for cases like this plus i see the unlimited possibility for all kinds of fun post work.
adobe is my staple so assembling is not an issue.
guess i thought i could get the exact results a tad faster.
