OH, I did update the image node to the default one that's not native to Cycles, which has always worked for me. So that node you see above is gone with the older Image node replacing it.

I'm back. So I'm having a devil of a time getting any detail to show from either a bump or normal map using Cycles.
Here is a partial screen grab of what I have set up. You notice to the left there is a bit of skin color, well that's the render results. FLAT. The Normal map has allot of good detail so I must be doing something wrong. Wondering if I should use the Displacement input in the Cycles Root node to get details to pop?
PS, the low input strength number seems to work fine on areas like the lips or face but on the body even set to 1.000000 still gives me know detail. I don't have this issue at all with the Poser Root Node nor the Physical Root Node. I'm using the latest Poser 13

VERY nice Charly! Yes, sometimes the SSS maps are completely unnecessary. The comparison renders of the feets shows this. I like the one better without the SSS map for sure.

Hi AmbientShade. Why don't you make a correct morph set if you have a store here. I'm sure many would love to have all the little fixes your suggesting. There are a few published artists that do that for the Genesis figures so your more than welcome to go that route. Thanks for the nice examples!

Texture mats work but the eyes, eyelashes and brows are all different UV's now. I think she works natively in Poser 11 so you might have access to the free version of LF2 3Dream!
Dynamic clothing with some adjustments will work fine with the shape. Conforming hair will have to refitted but not sure about long hair, esp if it has bones. You would more than likely need to parent it to the head and be OK with that. There is a default LF1 shape included with the figure but it's not rigged to move properly so it's just a shape for transferring things over to LF2 but not sure about morphs, you can try if you like.
