That's not Humble Bundle that's Humble Games a game studio Humble launched in 2017, it's totally sepp from their other site.I read something in google news yesterday that Humble let its entire staff go and there is some "restructuring" going on. Not sure what that means for the Poser purchase but I'd check into it before purchasing.

It was built using alternate UVs for the eyes. It should of had a warning that you would need the product the error is referencing.
I don't think needing an additional product was the issue. The reference is being made to a component(the UV map) I'm assuming is part of a merchant resource product made by DimensionTheory as a Daz Original iirc, which requires the UV map/appropriate .dsf to be included in products using those texture resources. So no need for us to buy a whole separate product.
Yeah, I went from thinking that the textures were missing to it being that the wrong textures were uploaded into the zip file. I didn't realize they used a completely different UV map for the eye surfaces until I loaded eye textures from a different character and tried to manually apply Jillian's eye textures. I'm just glad it was corrected so fast. Thank you! In the past I've had to wait a month or longer(if I was lucky). There's still products out there from other vendors that have messed up geometry morphs or textures.
There's one other issue, and I'm not sure how important it is, but I noticed there are seams/mismatches when using the G8F anatomical elements & Jillian's genital textures. This can be remedied by using the torso texture on the anatomical elements and switching the UV map in the surface settings, but the central part of it will not line up enough with the geometry of the central orifice, so it won't work well for anyone doing nude renders that expose this region.

First of all, Very sorry this happened in the first place, we are working to get this fixed ASAP. Also check your PM's here on the site, as I sent you the fix for it last night so you did not have to wait for it to be added to the official downloads for the product.

I forgot to mention, in case it wasn't obvious, its the textures for the eyes, which do appear to be in the character's texture file, but somehow that missing .dsf is screwing it up.

Thread: Need some help please (Material files) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Creating MAT files in Poser is easier than you think. Load your figure/prop into Poser, enter the Material Room and manually dress it with your texture. Unfortunately, you will need to edit each material zone to apply the textures. Include any nodes necessary.
Once done, click on the add icon at the bottom of the Poser Library (+ icon). A new panel will appear asking whether you want to create an MC6 (material collection) or an MT5 (a single zone material). Select MC6, then select the material zones the new file will affect. Give it a name, click ok and you are done. Load a new figure to test.
Yes indeed it was MUCH easier then I thought it would be, a freind of mine walked me through it and I've now created my first set of 60 materials :)
(Oh and I just needed MT5 as these are seamless "use anywhere needed" materials) now I'm going to play around with them and get them as good as I can get them and re-save them.

Thread: Will Facebook Eat Renderosity and DAZ's Lunch? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thought I'd chime in here with my 2 cents, since it looks like the bulk of the people in this thread seemed to have totally missed the point.
First up I'd like to know HOW exactly this thread could be even thought of as 'storefront spam' when there was no link, or name of what MatrixWorkz's store or account would even be called.
Secondly, the OP said many times he was NOT looking to sell stuff ON Facebook, but instead putting a LINK (or button) on their account that would lead back to their store / cart.
Now, on to my own points..
Right now Facebook is one of the largest and most visited site on the web, it boasts millions upon millions of users from all over the world, covering all sorts of likes and dislikes, for ANYONE who is into 3D as a money making venture (or a business if you will) it is honestly a NO-BRAINER to utilize facebook to help brand your name and or product.
Just because YOU might not like Facebook, doesn't mean your fans or customers share that same mindset.
Some mentioned FB as if it were a 'fad' IE (paraphrasing here) "Years ago it was MySpace, and now it's Facebook" Please don't forget that one of the main reasons MySpace LOST popularity was because they gave members 'too much control' over their profiles, and now when you go to damn near any Myspace profile you'll be bombarded by seizure inducing flashing, or music that you can't turn off, OR your browser just crashes from the script hell on the profile lol.
Facebook offers a stripped down version that is easy on the eyes, and is easy to access no matter what your age or computer know how is.
(almost done I promise lol)
My suggestionto MatrixWorkz is as follows:
Create your facebook profile for your project (or just add a PAGE to your current account) Utilize the developer tools that Facebook has (like button, stream feeds etc) and place those codes on your website/s, blog/s etc, Use the facebook account as a place for your 'fans' to keep up to date on your latest stuff, (It's also a good idea to tie in a Twitter account as well)
Your own website traffic will start to raise your Facebook numbers, same with your twitter account, at least 3 times a week make a post on your wall (of your page) explaining what your latest projects are.
Do this and you can harness the 'power of facebook and twitter"
And if you'd like to see some examples, or would like more help on this, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to help you out.
(last but not least.....)
To those talking about Facebook OWNING your content, that is just outright misunderstood BULL_______ Allow me to explain what it really is and why it is....
Anything you post to your own facebook (or to anyone else's account) can be displayed ANYWHERE Facebook allows their codes to be viewed, without their legal mumbo-jumbo of "You allowing Facebook to display, transmit, redistribute, etc etc" you could actually SUE them for a post you made on a friends wall...
Further more, without that agreement, ANY time the news did a story on facebook, and for some reason YOUR ACCOUNT was shown on TV (or a post you made) YOU COULD SUE THEM (and how many times have you seen Facebook on the news?)
You're NOT signing away your photos, text, etc to Facebook, you're just giving them permission to have it AND have it used wherever Facebook operates (and not try to come after them for doing so)
The same thing is done on EVERY site on the web of this nature, YouTube, MySpace, Break.com, Even Time Magazine, ANYWHERE that you can leave a comment or post information yourself you are agreeing for the site owners to USE YOUR CONTENT
Otherwise the second you hit "SUBMIT" or "POST" you could sue them.

Thread: I'd like to make a necklace... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Well, I'm figuring that if one has a $600 program, this would be a great way to start learning ZBrush- with a simple object. One can learn some simple important keys eg shift, cntrl, Alt, some of the functions on the shelves, how shadow box works etc. Jan
True enough, however (not bragging or complaining lol) I think I have tens of thousands of dollars worth of software and add-ons, and yet I only seem to use Poser and Daz studio 9 times out of 10 lol.
Never got around to rigging or creating my own figures / props I've just made use of textures and Photoshop over the years.

Quote - I can make you a simple charm if you can tell me what font and word you want , thats only a few minutes work in modeller.
Learning to do it in zbrush or blender will be of more benefit long term .
Problem is it's a custom font, so the base font would not produce the correct result, I do however have all sorts of .PSD versions of the 2 text logos in various sizes so that part is not much of a problem I would think.
One last thing, these would be used for a semi - full commercial project, so If I have it made by someone I'd need full rights to it and the ability to use it in commercial projects.
Long story short, we're making a 3D Toon digital magazine (like Playboy / Penthouse) Each month's centerfold will wear a necklace with the brand logo (like playboy/penthouse) and then each year the centerfold of the year will wear a 2nd brand logo necklace.

Quote - Okay, time to learn ZBrush. You should have ZBrush 4 (its a freebie upgrade).
We are going to use the animal called Shadowbox.
That is located in your light box (taking up space at the bottom of the canvas).
Double click on shadowbox and wait a couple of seconds for it to appear on the canvas.
You will need a straight heads on back shot, to do that move the cursor outside of the shadow box and move it while having the shift key depressed. Once it is aligned, release the mouse button first then the shift key.You will also need to click on transp, and ghost on the right shelf right next to the canvas.
Reason: you don't want the solid part showing just yet- You want a solid shadow and you can't see through that darn part. Then adjust your brush size down; after that, hold down the Ctrl key and with the mouse or tablet pencil draw in the shape of that wabbit, fill it all the way in. Then deactivate your transp and ghost to check it, if it needs touching up, hold down the Cntrl and Alt key while erasing with the mouse or pencil if necessary.
Then to make the shadow box go away, go to the subtool menu on the right side of the canvas and deactivated shadow box.
Now you got a purdy wabbit that you mayl need to plane down some. Try the planer. If its too much, depress Cntrl Z to return to previous state and on the top shelf, reduce the z intensity and try again.
You now have your purdy wabbit. Try it! Jan
DEFF Saved that for future use, but the rabbit was only an example ;) I want my necklace to have the same style of chain, and clasp, where the rabbit is on it would be replaced with my own charm (the text ones I need)
Thanks for your help though for sure!

Thread: I'd like to make a necklace... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - The quickest way to do this is to find a free chain for V4 and add your charm to it as a parented prop.
Another way is to make a flat strip that conforms to V4 and make its texture the chain and charm.
The hardest way is to model the chain , you can cheat a lot of its to be conforming.
ok, then the next question is how do I make my charm? it's text in a custom font

Thread: I'd like to make a necklace... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have Zbrush & Blender (granted I can't use either of them lol)
as for the actual design: for the chain itself I'm looking for either a chain like the one from "scrumptious" OR in a perfect world the necklace would be just like the Playboy necklace (image attached) but th ebunny head would be replaced with my own "charm"
after a bit of a meeting it's also been decided we'd need two different charms for the necklace as well.

Thread: Can anyone help identify these models? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - nope thats an aiko 3 product
Aiko4 and Girl 4 are both morph sets for Victoria 4
http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/aiko-4-base?item=5980&_m=d
http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/the-girl-4?item=8390&_m=d
since all three are in one cr2 it is easy to mix the morphs together for the various looks you posted.
The aiko4 set has a couple different head styles, including a very Tex Avery style American toon head as well as the anime style heads
Lyrra
I have both of those plus the moph add-ons,
I don't think the models I posted were made with A4 though, as I know they were created at least 2 years ago, and if I'm not mistaken A4 came out this year right?
I can say though, that the plugin I bought (linked above) did produce a VERY similar (but not 100%) I'd say maybe 75% look-a-like to the ones on the top of the photo I posted.
I just wish the artist would tell me what was used lol, but then again the sleuth method is sort of fun lol

Quote - Looks to be various versions of V4 with the aiko4, girl 4 and aiko4 american toon head morphs. The top right 2 look to be rebelmommy skins by the lipgloss and smoky eyeshadow. Bottom right might be a Thorne skin
Well I did some searching and the only thing I could find so far I bought: Aiko-X - Head Morph eXpansion
I assume (and hope lol) that is what you meant by "american toon head morphs" the examples shown on that page looked close, I'll know more when I play with some textures with A3.
IF that is the right thing I need, then it still leaves the V4 and Girl4 morphs, any ideas?

Quote - PZ3 you can open with any text editor. If you really want to find all your textures that way then start "find" function and type:
file
check "match whole words only" if you got that option.
BINGO, we have a winner :) Thanks allot :)
I had opened both the PZ3 and PMD files in wordpad, and I kind of just scanned through them, but I was a bit overwhelmed with the binary/code/text that I saw lol
and for people who may have this same prob in the future let me add to your solution....
(1) Open the PZ3 file in Wordpad
(2) Start "Find"
(3) Type: ":
(4) find your textures
Viola
Now it's time for me to get back to work lol
Again thanks for all the help :)

Quote - IMHO a cache is s temporary file and not needed for the use of the program. And things in a "temp" folder are just that...temporary. If it were me I would delete both, but if you are leary you may want to wait and get a second opinion.
I agree with you 100% on that, heck had I have known about the temp folders I would have been cleaning them on a reg basis from the get go.]
However, I've deleted both folders, unchecked the box, restarted poser, and STILL I'm not able to open the "broken" files, so I'm back to my first issue/question
"Is there a way for me to open the PZR or PMD files and find out what textures were used in them so I can attempt to recreate the broken files?"
So far the only good news is I now have an extra 15 gigs on this render box lol
