Thread: Rotating a tile texture | Forum: Poser 12
This is the node set up I used. I used the Tile 012 texture from AmbeintCG.com for the floor.
It seems to me that 360° of rotation of the Z value equals 2π (6.283185), thus 180° of equals π (3.14159) and so 90° of rotation equals ½π (1.570796). If so, then all other measures of rotation would therefore be in accordance. Any one feel free to let me know if I have this wrong.

My solution to this problem is to plug the transparency map into each of the SSS channels on the PhysicalSurface node.

There are 3 available at Turbosquid, though none of them are rigged. The cheapest is $19 and available in .3ds.

drifterlee, you're in luck! I googled it and would you believe it? It's right here in Rendo's Free Stuff.
Hope it's as good as it looks.
Thread: Problem with importing OBJ model into Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Attached Link: UVMapper
Regarding the polygon problem of the initial model it might help to fix the polygons in UVMapper before importing it into Poser. It allows poser to read the model as any other program would, with sharp edges and consistent sides. There's a free copy available and the directions are easy.
Thread: cataloging 3d models | Forum: Bryce
Sorry about the free part not being right. I forgot that they discontinued that a while back.
As far as 3ds max files are concerned I haven't found any software that will read the proprietary .max files yet. 3D Browser Light should read .3ds models, though. I've never had a problem viewing them myself.
Hope it works for you, Mark

If you're still interested, I've found 3D Browser Light to be a good solution to what you're
describing.

They offer a free version and the cheapest full version is $20.
I've found that I can't work without it.

Thread: Help model needed | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I Have one from HT3DPlus.com. The problem is that the site is defunct. The creator's name is Hawktoey and is listed here at Renderosity. You could site mail him(I believe its a male) or look for him on other sites but I've searched the web and some Japanese site's link pages but unfortuneately I can't find any intact references to the webpage.

The Clothing MorphKit from Netherworks Studios works well. I was just using it to add morphs to a piece of Uzulite clothing.Thread: Want to find video camera prop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

This is what happens when Poser encounters a two-sided polygon. Eliminating one side of each polygon ina a modelling program may also eliminate the problem.
