Should this story - I hope you will create another one. It's a great way to streach one's creative skills. I've done this type of thing before and think it's great fun to see where the story leads. :)

Thread: I need help loading new items to Daz 3d 4 | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I haven't really played with DAZ 4, but it's nice to see this helps. I was shocked now different DAZ4 looked from DAZ 2.3.146 which I like using. I get so tired of having to learn new softwares..... :)

Don't be afraid to share your art, and you can ask for critiques when you post your work. People are willing to help if you ask. We all had to start from where you are. :)

It's hard to judge unless we can see some of your work. I only saw piece in your gallery, but your nude and it looked fine to me; I might of used more contrast, unless that is the look you wanted. It's like anything else, it takes practice - my first 8 months was so uninterestng. I tried to study artist work that I liked, and also to develop my own style. Wrong lighting, or no shadows makes 3D looks flat. I purchased the book Digital Lighting & Rendering by Jeremy Birn and it helped my work a lot. I'm sure others will have different suggestion.

Thread: Can you make a character with Faceshop? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I have it, but have not played with it. It says you can, but like most software, it probably takes time to get it really accurate. Sadly, I don't have to volunteer for your project. Good Luck.

Thread: D/S Downloads continously warning of virus contained. | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I also use AVG (both compuers) and have not receive any warning from DAZ products. I auto scan my macnine about 3 times a week for viruses. It's seem to be a constant battle between us and 'them' :) I wonder of the virus creators realize they are actually keeping the virus software companies in business?

Thread: Complete newbie | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I'm sure that someone wil post tutorial links, but I started in baby steps. I load one model (V4) and I learned how to add clothes, hair, and move her body parts (arms, leg, etc.) tried different camera angles, practing moving her around in the work space, figured how to rotate the working area, etc. I also practiced saving and merging scenes You might look for DAZ tutorials on youtube.com. Sometimes watching sometimes makes it clearer. You can only learn so much so fast, so don't get discouraged.
if no one posts tutorials to your liking, please feel free to PM me and I will see if I can help. DAZ is so fun, hate to see anyone miss out.

Thread: Has Anyone Ever Run Into This Problem? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Yes, but I have Windows XP. DAZ 3.xxx (purchased on sale) did freeze a couple of times. So I unnstalled and went back to my nice stable DAZ 2.3.3.3.146. I did not waste time doing research, etc. so don't know what the problem was.
I didn't try to run it on my laptop which has Vista.
