A couple tips on doing panoramas by "hand". 1) Keep everthing on seperate layers as long as possible. 2) To line up your layers, set your top layer to "Difference" mode and adjust position, size and shape until the overlapping region looks as black as possible. 3) Once your layers are lined up, add a "layer mask" to your top layer and use a large soft airbrush with black color to erase the seam. 4) If your photo's were taken one after another, most of the color difference can be taken care of with a "Levels" command or adjustment layer clipped to the layer you're working on. Hope that helps, - Ken Heronheart -

The upgrade price is around $180. That is relatively inexpensive for what you get. Download the demo and you'll see what I mean. - Ken Heronheart -
Thread: Photoshop 7 airbrush | Forum: Photoshop
It would help if you could be more specific about how you want the airbrush to work. To enable it's working with a pressure sensitive tablet, goto the brushes pallete, check other dynamics and set the opacity control to pen pressure. Also make sure that you have the latest driver for your tablet. - Ken Heronheart -

As I remember the bug was fixed in the patch, and it was only present if you assigned the JPG file format to PhotoShop during install. - Ken Heronheart -

You can do a lot of this in PhotoShop using the airbrush. The trick is to use selections to create "stencils" and then use the stencils to give you hard edges. If you're working from a sketch, you can often use the magic wand to make your "stencil selections". -Ken Heronheart-

You need to download the latest driver from Wacom. When I first installed PS 7, it wouldn't recognize the tablet until I downloaded the driver. -Ken Heronheart-
Thread: Tubes?!? | Forum: Photoshop
I've used PhotoSpray. It works well if you want to create an all over pattern. It doesn't work as well if you want to put your spray in specific places on a new layer. The problem is that it's a filter which effectively takes the layer selection you're working on into a new "space" and you can't see the other layers of your image. - Ken Heronheart -

The shift key will constrain movement in Photoshop. If you don't want it to snap to the grid go under the "View" menu and uncheck "Show Grid" and/or "Snap" and/or "Snap to Grid" - Ken Heronheart -
Thread: Photoshop 7 freezes on me - why, and what can I do about it? | Forum: Photoshop
This may be an XP problem. Occasionally there's a problem with the CD drive that causes CPU usage to go through the roof. Make sure your XP installation is up to date and remove any CD's you might have in the drive. You can also try the Photoshop forum at www.adobeforums.com Hope that helps, Ken Heronheart

There are a number of different things you can try, the first being a "levels adjustment layer". You can also try the "burn tool" or an overlay layer and painting with the black. For quick results try Image/Adjustments/ Auto Level or Auto Contrast. - Ken Heronheart -
Thread: Best way to reduce large line-art scans in Photoshop??!!! | Forum: Photoshop
Reducing image size is usually no problem, You'll lose some of the detail so you might want to use the sharpen filter first, then go to Image/Image Size and have at it. - Ken Heronheart -
