Quote - I decided to get these and see how they compared.
Unfortunately the Poser Companion File installers for mac seem to be broken.
No PCFs get installed to my Genesis runtime... the installer just skips any option to select a content directory.
Also seems to be an issue with conforming hair... i.e. the scaling is broken, apparently.
Anyone else found these issues?
Having got these, I'm actually still not sure what they add over just mixing, say, the Stephanie 4 morph with the Basic Child morph? (even if they did work)
i'm having the same problems with the PC installers

Quote - I suspect it's a marketing strategy. A lot of the people who got it free will start buying content for it, and that's what Daz is counting on. If you ask me, it is a very smart decision on their part. Â Expand the user base a little over the next month, get them hooked and sell them content...
They already had that hook dangling in the water with the basic DS4 which has been available for free from the launch date.

I had this problem as well with DS4 pro. Have you checked for any updates - reset your downloads and you see if there's a new version. My current version is DS4 pro X64 V4.02.55 and the plugin loads fine.

Thread: Incomplete renders when using Queue Manager for Poser Pro 2010 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay I've been debugging this problem and I think I'm getting to the bottom of it.
It would appear to me that in order for an object to to render correctly in the queue the geometry files used in the scene have to be in the poserpro 2010 geometries folder structure.
If the geometry files are in any other runtime folder then the objects are not found despite the fact that the runtimes are integrated into the poser library and the fact that the foreground and background renders work fine,
Please could somebody check if they get same results so that I can rule out any issues with my Pc/Poser setup
The steps to reproduce are as follows:-
Thanks

I have Vista 64 fully service packed and hotfixed, indexing enabled and search works fine for me out of the box

Thanks for the info everyone, but I think I'll give V3 a miss just now, I've invested too much money in V2 Characters (with body morphs),textures and clothes to just just to throw it all away. :-(
