To a hobbist like my wife and I, shelling out 200 bucks to upgrade to P5 knowing that there are still bugs and not all the functions would be useful to us is out of question. If we have that kind of money we would have upgraded our computer first. The idea of a free or low cost basic program with plugins you can buy later sounds very attractive. The question is how the execution going to be, is it going to be problem ridden like the initial release of P5? Time will tell.

I've read that, the problem was that the UV map from DAZ is screwed up. Part of the UV map of the right nipple was mapped to the stomach part of the body, creating a distintive "ring" around the right nipple.

Art is subjective, that's that. Your opinion is your own. I think we can all agree on that. The problem is not whether or not certain individual got elected or not. The problem is the said person/ group had organized to commit election fraud, soliciting people to create multiple membership account just to stack the poll. Some of you may rationalize with the "his art is to be controversial, that's his type of art." and commiting such act as to hijacking the AOY election would be his "ultimate creation"! So I guess being fair, respecting people's Point of view and their freedom of speech can all take the back seat and put personal gain, prestige, pride or "my right to express what art is" to the top of the list then. After all, "I" am more important than everyone else in the world right?

Haven't done too much UV remapping. So I'd need to Use UVmapper, load up the obj for V3 then load the UV file then save the final obj as a new obj with the UV parameters. Is that's correct? Kelmar

Going OT a little bit. Agree with Mosca :) I think a lot of people not going to the poll was because in many cases, they were given some OK choices, rarely would one choice would truely stand out to completely align with their POV. However, I find it much easier to notice things that I don't like. Human nature? Or just my personal flaw?

Here is what I want to see. Instead of just allowing "for" vote, allow "against" vote. You are still allow only one vote, "for" or "against". A lot of time is that there may be a few artists that I think equally talented and worth the award. At time, people may not be able to decide who to vote for, in the end may not vote for neither one, and someone who they thought definatly should not win end up winning. IMO, people should also be allowed to voice their disapproval by putting in minus-votes, or putting in positive-votes for one they think definitely deserving the award. Should start a trial with the hot 20.

Aye, IMO leave Hot 20 alone. It has always been a popularity contest. Occasionally a couple good ones pop up every now and then, but mostly it's just how many friends you could get to vote for you (or to look at the pic) Seeing the traffic of the galleries, especially the Poser one, is so high )100+ pics per day) Forcing a jury to come up with a list in a short time doesn't seem possible. Anyway, people who crave and get high on attention will do anything to get it. Kind of reminded me of the Simpson episode with the giant advertise figures destroying the town. The way to kill them, don't give them any attention. If you don't like certain person's work don't look at it, don't give them the satisfaction that they succeed at pissing you off by posting comments. Exercise your freedom to choose.
