Daz Studio to Photoshop Bridge has the following limitation.

DS 64bit to PS 64bit = OK. // DS 64bit to PS 32bit = Will not work.

DS 32bit to PS 32bit = OK. // DS 32bit to PS 64bit = Will not work.

Probably like most sites outside of DAZ3D they are more aimed at the Poser user. But even some of those Poser products are not well packaged either.

I remember one Poser product I bought that had everything, I truely mean EVERYTHING, was thrown into one runtime Props folder (PP2, PMD, OBJ, and texture files).

It took me about an hour to sort the files into their proper Poser runtime subfolders, then I used Dimesion3D's Runtime Repair to auto-correct the PP2 files reference code to call up the associated files from the new (proper) locations.

Grrrr!

Actually you can render in the active window by using the "spot render veiwport tool". The icon is a camera with a mouse pointer. I use that when I want to check only a small area of my scene but you can just click and drag it over the whole scene too. The only thing is that it doesn't save the rendered scene if using the spot render veiwport tool.

You can use V4 / M4 poses on Genesis and then fix them using the following script.

If you have an item with transperancy / opacity map (such as hair / eyelashes) applied to its Surface then Uberenvironment render times will be even longer unless you apply UberHair Shader first to the item's Surface. Or in the item's Paramater tab turn Cast Shadows to Off.

BTW I used Lantios Lights 2 (from Daz store) in my above render.

(A) Occlusion Samples (larger number = higher quality = longer render time)

(B) Shading Rate (lower number = higher quality = longer render time).

Try (A) first then fine tune with (B). Also adjusting Occlusion Colour can help but it lightens the shadows.

If I come across some more useful free scripts for DS4 I'll post them.

DeltaX15 makes many useful free scripts that he posts at Daz forum. InjectPMD Plugin is one of the most important script / plugin he has created. I think he now has a beta version of the InjectPMD Plugin for DS4.

Not sure why Daz doesn't include the InjectPMD Plugin as standard in all DS releases. Anyhoot for DS4, he and others are waiting for Daz to release the DS4 scripting code so they can upgrade their scripts. Some DS3 scripts work in DS4 and some don't.

For any Daz Studio user (old or new) I highly recommend the following program.

a) Runtime Repair by Dimension3D (purchase at Rendo's marketplace).

A stand alone program that I find extremely useful. DS has a hard time locating files if in the wrong referenced folders. This program fixes the runtime file code that references the related files.

Becareful how you use it because you may accidently overwrite a file that you didn't want to. To be safe just use it on one file at a time until you get to understarstand it then you can use it on mulitiple files and folders.

I really wish all Poser content creators would use this program before putting their products in the market place for sale. Sigh!
