It is possible to find?
Thread: How to Maximize the size of *.png rendered in Apo? | Forum: Fractals
Thank You, Lenord!
Quote - Max size usually always depends on the ammount of RAM available, the more Ram the larger Image that can be Rendered
I've got 16GB DDR3 RAM...
Quote - speed always dependent on the number of Cores available to process the Project
My graphic Station is based on Intel Quad 9650...
Quote - I do not believe Apo (any version) has a limitย on size of Render, it all depends on the Power of your Machine and of course your patience.ย
You can belive me or not, but I can't get a 30 - 40 Mpx PNGย (5'000x6'000) of appropriate quality (>4'000) with flam3 render and what is more annoying is that I dont know how to understand beforehand whether I get a PNG or BMP as a result of my say 14-hour render...

Thread: Flam3 render results are not "ACD See-viewable" - !? | Forum: Fractals
Quote - I think your problem may be with the png viewing settings in ACD See - especially if Photoshop is viewing the file correctly... you are rendering to png, aren't you?
ย
Thank You for your son reply!
I render to *.PNG, of course ;-) Render options are:
Batches 1
Strips 1
Buffer depth 64 bit (I render on 64-bit AMD Turion machine, windowsย XP Pro SP2, 1GB RAM)
Quality not less than 800
Filter radius 0,4 - 0,9 depending on the size of the picture (1000 - 3000 pixels wide)
Oversample - 2
I am not sure the problem is in ACD See only. Some PNG files are not opened by Photoshop (though seen in ACD See) - Photoshop "complains":
"Could not complete Your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file".
It happens only with flam3 (when I used hqi.exe there as nothing of that kind).
Perhaps anybody can give me a link to hqi or send it to me via email (pontigary@fastmail.fm) - I will be grateful!
Thank You in advance.
Thread: Your help, photogurus, is needed! | Forum: Photography
Wow, dear friends, thank You so much. I like very much what You suggested and created! Of course those dynamic objects and subjects are not so easy tobe captured - they are not predictable like a human being (sportsman for instance). I'm grateful for Your advise and help, -Anthony.
Thread: Does anyone knows who is the author of this photograph? | Forum: Photography
Haven't seen that marvel either. If it was saved with the image number (when You save a pic from somebody's gallery it,s called something like GalleryImage1234567.jpg) You can paste that very number in the address string like that: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1234567 and will find Yourself in the author's gallery. But in case You renamed it I'm afraid only admin stuff can help You.

Thread: 3 questions on medium format camera choice - ?! | Forum: Photography
I visited several sites, forums, read articles, reports and visited several stores and tried different models of Hasselblad and Rollei as I narrowed my choice by these two vendors. As far as I saw most of the salesmen and photographers have their own very individual habits and reasons to love specific vndor|model (some addicted to Hassy 501 just because it's Hassy 501 and it'smore than a camera for them but a kinda style and image, the others like Rollei 66 for the same reason and it's impossible to make them analyse their preferences and formulate competitive advantages of their specific choice). I like Rollei 6008AF very much. Though it's not very frequently discussed (in forums) nor widely used - not so popular (perhaps due to being not very cheap - ?, or there are some more factors...) So if anybody can express his|her own specific opinion on its' drawbacka, I'll be happy to read! Thank You in advance. -Anthony.

Thank You, firestorm - reading it already. But do anybody really use MF (perhaps I should address directly the person in IM since not all of us visit Forum on a regular basis) - do somebody know who uses that kinda equipment?
Thread: Irritating Problem when Creating a Gradient in Apophysis | Forum: Fractals
The gradient You create in Photoshop or any other graphic editor will change grately from the one Apo uses since Apo uses absolutely different file format, that operates rgb, not jpeg-compression code. You can download ApoMap from Apophysis site -or here's the direct link (http://www.apophysis.org/Apomap1.exe), it's less then I MB, no installation (just unzip) free and You can create special Ao gradients with its help easily. Hope that helps, With kindest regards,
-Anthony Pontigary.

Thread: Silly question | Forum: Fractals
Lets suppose Your image is high (twice higher than the width). First of all You can resize the render window size (CTRL+I) by entering the exact numbers (if Your screen resolution 1600 x 1200 enter width - 600 and hight - 1200 - it will make the render window exactly the size You need) or use mouse to resize the whole Apo window to the proportions You need. Than You can use Ctrl+A (Adjust) to make the render window the optimal size for the flame not to be cropped. In Adjust applet preview You'll see the dimensions of Your resized render window already. Did it help? With kindest regards, -Anthony.
