I have no idea what your talking about, UAC? What is that? Why wouldn't have have exclusive admin rights to my own computer? If I reinstall poser to it's own folder, do I then also put all my runtimes in that folder? Please be gentle with me, I am not technically adept at all and vista is brand new to me.
As for the monitor question, my mouse clearly stops at the edge of the single monitor. Does that mean it's set up right? or does that mean nothing?

Thread: An Introduction to Divine Poser | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
im not sure what your trying to show in that mock up.
You can't just apply the rule of thirds to a PORTION of your frame and come out with a balanced composition. The widescreen frame is quite still quite out of balance.
Also, the brightness and color of objects also need to be taken into account when thinking of composition. You can apply the rule of thirds all day long, but that big bright moon in the center is a vortex that grabs the eye and will never let go. To balance the frame, you need to have bright highlights on the dragons as well. Where is your rim lighting from the moon? If you didn't do it in your render, then you can paint on a rim light in photoshop.

Thread: "Lorena" character turns black... why? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
hmmm, could be a couple of things. First check the main diffuse channel. It may be set to black and the Lorena texture is connected to the alternate diffuse instead. If that is it just connect the main diffuse to the texture but make the value zero (so you can at least see texture in preview)
If not, check the rest of the channels for anything weird: specular, ambient, trans, bump. Disconnect them all from whatever they are connected to and see if that makes a difference.
Maybe try a "Reload Textures" in the render menu I believe.

Thread: How do you make the process of making Poser Comic/Stories fun and not tedious... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
One common problem I see in posing is the stiffness in the hip, torso and shoulders. This one of the big hallmarks of the bad "Poser Look".
When using many of the stock figures such as victoria or michael, people assume that the ZERO position is the "normal" standing pose. This is not at all true. The shoulders are set too high, the spine is not curved correctly and the hip is rotated wrong for a person standing at rest.
When I start a new pose, I always start by dropping the shoulders to -10, rotating the hip back and bending the chest and neck forward.

Thread: problem with dress moving when a mat-pose is applied. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
a conforming dress IS a figure.
I don't know, If it is not the visual glitch that is your problem, then maybe you are actually applying a POSE FILE to the dress and it has been mislabeled as a MAT FILE.

Thread: Top left-hand corner of Firefly renders have "imprints" that shouldn't be there | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, it's a common problem, and it's even worse if you are rendering with multiple processors. It makes more then one messed up box.
Patch up your stuff, definatly. But if you still have a problem, I have noticed that the problem was mostly caused by geometry existing BEHIND the camera. If I turned off that geometry, the bad boxes went away.

I have noticed that Poser sometimes makes your figure shift when you apply a material. But I am pretty sure it is only temporary visual glitch because after it is done, it all returns to normal, it does not actually affect your keyframes.
I don't know if this is what you are talking about.

The Exodus 3 pilot is still being shopped around as a web series, it still only has temp music so we are not advertising it yet. But the web address given at the end works fine, www.exodusIII.com, you can also go to the website at www.exodusthree.com.

Constructive crits - the background is way too "loud". It SCREAMS for attention when you want your viewers eye to be drawn to the figures face an the crystal ball. You are also ignoring the fact that the bright light from the merry go round is your pictures KEY light source.
As a quick fix, try throwing a layer of scary fog between your figure and the merry go round. This will soften the "loudness" of the background and create the seperation you need. Paint a strong rim light on your main figure to acknowledge the light from the merry go round.
As to getting comments, like the previous poster said, your subject matter is not nearly naked enough, nor nearly it is female enough.

Thread: is it just me, or does Poser7 suck really F*cking bad. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I am in constant contact with tech support at Poser. I don't know anything about complex graphics driver problems, but thier #1 response to most problems is, "did you delete the poser preference files"?
On my computer it's in: documents and settings / user / application data / poser 7
just delete any the preference and configeration files in this folder and you may eleminate any weird settings poser has saved.
