Thread: Anyone ? who have solution for me with Daz | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok, its my wierdness and not Poser's! First the texture map and now this. And as all problems come in 3s there's bound to be another one. Okay, I don't know how it happened but the cr2 was missing "otherActor" info. So the head and the rThigh did not know they were supposed to act along with their neighboring body parts. I have sent the fix to Daz and there should be an updated cr2 on the product page later on, probably by this evening. BTW, I would like to note that this is "Optimized" version for V3. It was not "made" for her. So their are going to be issues with body parts sticking out due to the fact her geometry is different complicated by the JCMs. So if there is "poke through" some adjustments will be required. Future V3 clothing will be tailored to fit her geometry. Thanks, for your patience

::This non-commercial thing also pisses me off in freestuff too. I can understand someone not wanting a prop taken from freestuff and resold and its ownership claimed by someone else (like someone did with my stuff at props guild by putting my free items behind a pay wall) but to restrict the use of a prop in a render I think is silly especially when its an add on to someone else's stuff like a texture.:: I agree with that 100%. I never download those items. However, that said, anyone has the right to restrict or not their items and I have the choice on whether I'll download it or not. As to the default setting in the free stuff area, I had been gone for a long time from the community when this was put in effect and was pointed out recently that my items were listed for non-commercial use only. They have been changed now. What I especially dislike is when some does an add on for a free stuff item and puts it in the market place. That just bugs me, and doesn't seem right. ::We just DID the freestuff argument. Do we have to go through it again so soon? Every time we do, people on both sides explain why it matters to them, get ignored, tempers start to rise, insults start flying, and another freestuff provider leaves. Are we done yet? :: Haven't you learned by now that this place is just the "same old, same old". Anyhow, I didn't get a chance to participate in the last one. ;)

Actually it makes good business sense. Like Dan said, products that start getting lost on the back pages become more visible again. Also, when a customer saves money on one product they're also likely to take some of that savings and buy something else. At least I know I do. :) Also, there might be customers who didn't buy a product because maybe they thought the price was a little to dear for their budget, now decide to buy it at its discounted price. So in this instance, sales increase. Anyhow, off to the loft to see what's there. :D

Is your geometry file named in all caps? That's important. You delete the .rsr because they can do different funky things, sorry, can't get more technical than that. When you delete the .rsr you won't get the "thumbnail". Once you get your figures loaded and showing up in your document window you then resave them to the library (by hitting the "+") and then you will have a thumbnail.

I'm going to assume you're on a PC if you're on a Mac let me know. Also, I'm going to give you more info than you probably need. :) cygnet.obj and the swan.obj belongs in a folder named "BIRDS" so if you don't have a folder in there named that, create one. put the objects in there and delete the .rsr files. Put the .cr2 files in any folder you wish in libraries-->character-->"any folder". Also delete the .rsr here as well. Your figures will show up as the famous shrugging guy. .pz2 files go in any folder in libraries-->pose-->"any folder" Try it now and let me know if this works. If you did all this, it may just be a matter of deleting all the .rsr files. Cheers

::ARGH! Will you slow down giving us such great freebies! I have to find time to use them!!! :: LOL, I was making up for lost time, hadn't contributed for a long while. I will be slowing down and getting back to a set of robes for the Millenium folks. However, I'll try to remember to pop in new freebies every so often. ::Been needing a "Horned Man" thingy for awhile now. On my way. Thanks... we've ALL been needing a horned man thingy for a while now... rolls eyes at IB :: :D

::If you're a vendor, you can take it from me - as someone who brokers through DAZ, I'm more than happy to be exclusive to them. DAZ has shown over and over again that they are WAY AHEAD of anyone else in the world of Poser, when it comes to marketing and customer service.:: Hear, hear, Mclean!
