thanks for the quick respond, I had made some clothes for my DAZ figure inside 3dsmax, but somehow I can only export to poser as "prop" which is not what i want, I need to know how I can make these models into coforming clothes , anyone ?

oh, I was just to try to render 2400x2400 , and it won't let me :-(

thanks, you guys .Yes, I am new in 3dsmax, the reason I try to import poser figure to max is that I can't creat a nice figure like DAZ does, hope one day I will be able to creat my own. however, the figure I import to max, seems break apart as tons of mesh, I hardly move the figure after import, not to metion edit the mesh ?

I set the monitor resulution to 800 x 600 .can't see the the progress bar down below, now I have to work on 1024 x 768 , not good for my eye. thanks guys

thanks for answer my question, but I still can't see the "progress bar "on both render Firefly, and poser 4 render, shouldn't the progress bar pop out itself when I hit render now " and what you mean by "dialog window" ,do you mean "render option" window ?

thank you for the tips, I use poser 4.0.3, however the problem is not about lighting or colors,... it is about resolution ( pixels ), for example, I use a 2400 X 2400 pixels backqround image to rendering to 8", 300 dpi as final, but it come out as a lousy background (it look like 72 dpi , and I am expecting it has 300 dpi quality) my question is can't Multiplane Cyclorama render a high quality background ?

thank for clear that up, and Yes, I did that each time by deleting the rsr file, but the problem is that I have to delete the rsr EVERY time when I open any boject that I have used last time ...in other words,every time when I finish anything with poser , I have to go to the Geometries folder do clean up that'cause me lots pain :-(

Do you fix the probelm yet, I got the same probelm, is that the real problem as someone metion above by "terminate Poser rather than quitting the program" ? 'cause I am more comfortable with poser 4.0.3, and I don't like to update it to higher version. let me know if you find a way to fixed, thank you so much.

Did you fix the problem yet ? I got and same problem like you did. the obj file is there,and i have to go to the Geometries folder delete the rsr file everythime .do you know how to fix it ?

thanks, beryld I try your way and it work ;-) it work when simple double click hair object, and hit " set parent " but don't know why when I use top menu ( Figure >Set Figure Parent)and it won't work ( can't find the figure I need)

thanks for all help, first of all, the hair is not conforming figure ,I can only move it by dailing the x, y z. so it can't confirm to figure's head when doing animation, second, as i mention above,if i select the hair, I can't find the head for me to set the parent(for example, if the mil figure is "figure 1", when i select the hair and go to parent setting,then i see every figures, camerca, light,... are on the list ,but no "Figure 1". samething if I set mil boy as figure 2, then I can't find figure 2 at parent setting .that is my question.

just curious, why don't you render animation in poser ? in fact , I just learn how to render animation in poser 4, and the film don't look great (it seems the shadow changed on figure so fast even though the object is almost stand still , that make film look a bit dirty look.do you have same problem ? )

I read your post message here and I think I have problem to load the texture to V3 male, it keep pop out looking for .bmp. again and again. so how to change the .bum references to .jpg ?
