The M2 version is ready, so yes she will have a friend :) The head sizing options are also included with the M2 version, so with that new feature, he will also make also a good match for some of the other recently released, Toon-style female characters. :) I should have the final details about release dates by the end of the week, hopefully sooner. Sound good? :)

A minor change has been made to the update and was posted this morning. If you dl'd it Friday, this small change will remove the message about looking for the AddonBruce.pz2 You can safely ignore the message but it is a bit annoying, so the new version will get rid of it.

Hi pokeydots: the Michael version is definately coming :) I have to let these things run their course though, and X-Mas got things off schedule a bit. But he's up and working and I'm just looking at morph targets at the moment.

Glad to hear it Jade! :) Engel47: DAZ regularly uses the LowRes models as freebees for promotional CD's etc. I really don't know the exact current status on getting her at the moment, so you'd have to contact DAZ directly.

Wow, that was fast Sharen, I didn't even get a chance to make the announcement at other forum sites :) You're correct - if you already have a copy of Shazam you don't 'need' this since you have the V1 and V2 versions with all the extra morphs, etc. This LowRes versions was originally part of the full pack, but DAZ suggested splitting it out so it could be offered as a freebee item. Even if you have Shaz though, it could be useful for crowd scenes and such. Besides, when did 'needing' something ever stop people from downloading it? :) And for people who haven't seen the Shazam character yet, I guess I should have included this link to the Shazam User GalleryThread: You were right! Any V1/2 morphs should work - it's the exact same geometry layout, so anything based on the V1 model. Morphs for V1, V2 or the MilGirls have all been used and work fine. I don't know if anyones tried that one specifically, but if it works for the regular V1 or V2 figures it's fine. The only possible reason to not work is for characters where they've made new body parts and replaced the exisiting V1/2 parts with their own. So Mermaid Tail morphs won't likely work on Shazam's or Vicky's legs :)
Thread: Shazam Morph AutoLoad Features - How To | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nah, not high maintenance at all. Just slightly different, but only so far as to where you move 'extra' 3rd-party morph targets to. That's the new Morph AutoLoad feature I created for Shazam, but you can still play with her without getting involved in that :) Although once you do get a chance to try it, you'll (hopefully) see it does make things easier overall :)

Ours were opened some time ago as well, and as it turns out the kids have decided I'm last in line to try the new PS2 games. Not to mention, the only reason I was allowed to touch the PC CD's was to help install them, and now I've been informed the CD's for that are busy as well :) So I don't have access to the new stuff for the next several hours/days, and have nothing better to do than browse the forums :)

Hi Garee. Sorry to interrupt the present opening :) The link is to another thread that disusses adding new morphs to Shaz, and a brief intro to the included morph AutoLoad features. Here's a sample paragraph of (hopefully) one of the more important bits of info. ... The main readme refers you to the second one, but perhaps the comment was way down to the bottom where people missed it. In any event, the second readme is called "readmeShazScripts.txt", and can be found in the "Geometries/mgToon/ScriptsV1" folder. ... Feel free to IM or email me if that isn't what you were talking about though :)Thread: dke... Shazam is having a blue Christmas :o( | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sharen, That's great! 1) "...Shazam except her face?" Not sure exactly what you mean? If you mean getting the face morphs in, then use MorphManager but make sure to put the face/head morphs in the "Addin-UserHead.pz2" script rather than the "Addin-UserBody.pz2" Feel free to IM or email though and we can get it sorted out. 2) re: "soon?" Wellll... That depends on your definition of soon. Certainly won't be long though :) I've been waiting for some answers since mid-last last week but the X-Mas rush plus holidays has slowed things considerably. I was hoping for the answer yesterday but it didn't come, and so I'm hoping for it today :) The answer (and when it arrives) has some serious relevance for the immediate direction of Shazam promotional activities and the timing for her 'friends', so I'm hoping to get it early this week. Assuming that happens I'm hoping to submit Shaz for M1/2 late this week or next. As I mentioned to Veritas before though, every time I make a solid date prediction like that then Murphey rears his ugly head and throws a wrench into my schedules. So if you repeat this I will completely deny having written it, even if you point to this message to prove I did :)

Hi pokeydots. He's coming along nicely. No serious complaints so far other than "Hurry it up!" :) Hope to be putting in the M2 morphs in the next few days and then some final testing. It is X-Mas though, so people don't have as much time as usual. And I'm going to have to beg off on making an actual 'date' prediction since I don't know how the holidays are going to affect the DAZ or Renderosity product release pipe-lines :) Yes I saw your post :) I've added L'il Mikey to the top of her X-Mas wish list.

pokeydots: :) :) :) I just spent the weekend going through my kids' X-Mas wish lists, and appears I forgot to ask Shazam for hers :) Guess I know what should be on the top of that list ;) Veritas: That is definately one of the *my* favorites from Boris as well. I used a slight variation of that for one of the head carvings in my Temple pic. I can't say enough about how cool those Boris and Roxanne morp sets are...Thread: You were right! Hi Dizzie. Veritas asnwered this very nicely, (many thanks veritas,) but I'll add my two cents in as well. Here's the basic info: 1) Basically, the "Shazam for V1" and "Shazam for V2" are the full product. This is the one you usually want to use, and includes: a) the resized body parts and extremities b) either the Victoria 1 or Victoria 2 morphs c) the special addon morphs I created specifically for the Shazam/'Toon style. 2) The "Shazam V1 only" and "Shazam V2 only" is the same except it doesn't include the specialty morphs I added. This is just in case somebody prefers the standard 'familiar' V1/V2 morph sets, and didn't want to clutter it up with my additions 3) The "Victoria 1 Plus" and "Victoria 2 Plus" are the standard DAZ Vicki models without the resized body parts and extremities, but that include the morph AutoLoad features for/from Shazam. These are just for if you ever want to take a little break from the Shazam big head, big hands, big feet style :) It's there so that when you do start using the AutoLoad scripting features for Shazam, that effort can be instantly used with the 'standard' Vicky characters. So once you've added your favorite head and/or body morphs to the Shazam Addin-User scripts, you can also have these morphs loaded automatically no matter which of the variations you use. Saves a lot of disk space and you'll notice that even though there are 3 different V2 models, there's only one set of V2 morphs that is 'automatically' shared between all the versions. Hence the AutoLoad term. These AutoLoad-enabled versions for the standard Victoria 1 and Victoria 2 models will be part of the tutorial I'm writing about how the AutoLoad features work, and how to add it to any existing characters. You just get it first while I clear up any Shaz questions, and can then get back to the tutorial :)
