There probably would be copyright issues, although I showed Pastis (the creator) the pig, and he liked it. Little_Dragon: I tried doing Rat first, but I quit because his ears would constantly have their own perspective that doesn't translate into 3d (they always face the Camera), so it wouldn't look like him except from the front.

I don't know, I see lots of textures that I recognize from a very different site (and I'm positive they are the same).

Maya is described as "Makes all the really hard things to do easy, and the easy things to do hard", which is sometimes true. The GREATEST thing about Maya is that the entire program is based off MEL, it's embedded language. So if there is ANY task or feature you want it to have that doesn't exist, you can easily write it and plug it in. Redfeather: check out learning-maya.com - free tutorial database I wish I was taking a class in Maya though...

Wow, really nice scene! I like the color scheme a lot. All the details really show, too. The only thing I don't like is how the guys look like they have no shadows. I know Bryce is sometimes bad with shadow definition, but it looks like he has none. I really want to see the finished one!

I found 6 or so that I liked, and I finally chose on that one with the paint pallete being those jewels. I think plenty of them looked nice, so I'll just sit back and see. To be honest, I think anything would be better then the current. Man, I hate this color scheme.

Depends how much you'll use it for. I think Vue is amazing and can produce results that make Bryce look like Microsoft Paint compared to Photoshop. If you can afford Vue, I would definitely go for that. It's features are amazing and the quality greatly surpasses Bryce.

There's a guy who created a 3D model of Eddie for fun... I remember seeing it in his gallery, and that guys gotta be one of the most seriously talented dudes ever. I can NOT remember the link (I deleted it not more then a few weeks ago), but he had a CG version of Aragon he made, plus some pirate characters he did, and a few tutorials. It was a dark blue/black website... maybe someone else remembers it? You might be able to work something out with him.

The deck looks wierd when you're able to see the grass beneath it. Also, lower to haze a tad bit. Even things close to the camera are appearing washed out and faded. I like where it is going.
