Thanks for your help. I am not quite sure what fixed the problem as I tried several things that were recommended. It appears to be working fine now.
Thanks again for you help.

Thread: Poser 7 Crashes! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Tech support sent me this response...
*Quote -Some people who have purchased and installed Poser 6 or 7 have encountered problems in which Poser will exit unexpectedly on launch, upon switching rooms, or in other circumstances. This is often caused by conflicts between Poser's OpenGL-based preview engine and the video drivers installed on the system. The cure is actually quite simple- first, ensure that your video card drivers have been updated to the latest version. Even if you updated as recently as a few months ago, it's worth checking back at the manufacturer's website; we've been working with several video card manufacturers to ensure that their drivers and our software work well together.
For details and links to manufacturers' driver download pages, see this Knowledge Base article-
http://www.e-frontier.com/article/articleview/1392/1/861/
Windows Vista users in particular should ensure that they have the latest drivers as this issue has been known to arise under Vista; this article (http://www.e-frontier.com/article/articleview/2127/1/858/) describes some other suggestions for Vista owners.
If updating the drivers doesn't solve the problem, you may have to reduce the hardware acceleration settings for the card as described in the article referenced above.
I hope this helped.
I have updated my drivers. P5 works great with Vista. P6 works fine until I go into the material room to change a texture of clothing that doesn't have a mat-pose. As soon as I try to change the texture or just change the color it locks up the entire computer and I have to turn it off and back on again. I make sure I save what I am working on before going to the material room so I don't have to completely start over. But this is nuts.
I tried lowering my hardware accelleration but it is dithered and states my driver does not allow for it to be changed.
I have heard great things about the materia room in P6 but honestly right now I am not seeing it.
Also in my preview window the only way I can see my figure and what I have applied is to use the sreed setting instead of open GL and then it doesn't save that setting I have to change it every time I open P6.
Any suggestions. I have SR1 and SR2. Do I have to uninstall P6 and start over?
thanks,
Shannon

thanks.
I went ahead and bought and it works somewhat. Only part of the skirt morphs. I must have done something wrong. But it will be for an illistration so I can paint in the parts of the skirt that won't behave.

thanks so much.
I guess I am just confused as all the items came together but just the shirt has the pregnancy morph you would think if one of the pieces of clothing had the morph all of them would. But that is what I get for thinking. LOL

ok it didn't work. What am I doing wrong.
I opened the shirt that has pregnancy morph target and the skirt that doesn't in MM and copied the target and saved the skirt.
Then I opened poser and applied the skirt the pregnancy morph dial is there but doesn't do anything when I turn the dial the skirt doesn't change.
Any suggestions?

Quote - I'm afraid I will have to agree with the judge on this one, seems like most here at rendo and across the net who do nude figures always get the most responses, I guess the moto is "when in doubt do a nude" all the lustful teengae boys will say, "hey thats one hell of a render" what a great skin texture, then we have all the cute anim crap or maya dolls or whatever you wanna call that sh*t
I keep on wondering when all the cutsie junk will die, keep seeing more and more poser dolls popping up in the market place, who is buying that crap? what on gods earth is it used for?
Unfortunately I am having lots of fun with the maya doll and aiko type characters. I can't draw them but they make a great start for an illistration and as a web designer illistrated people are the in thing right now amongst alot of women owned businesses. They want cute adorable illistrations for their websites. Personally I would love to see more respectable clothing options and props. Not everyone wants their finished renders wearing skirts with their butt cheeks hanging out or shirts with their boobs hanging out. I am not saying they are not all creative art just not something I am in to. And I am sure I am not alone in that.
