That's a Meshbox product.
You have to pick your version of choice from the drop down box when ordering.
Sounds like you chose (however inadvertantly) the Vue product.
I'd contact CP about tading it for the Poser version.

Thread: Crew Cut Hair | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Over at Poser Addicts or Male Poserotica, Channing has a free military crew cut in his free exercise clothing set. You might have to fiddle with the transmaps, unless he fixed those, but once tweaked, it's very nice.

Exercise for M4 by Channing.
Check here in the freestuff, or over at MPE or Poser Addicts.
A whole outfit, which includes hair and training shoes.

Thread: Morphs not working in C8Pro 64bit | Forum: Carrara
Usally what works is saving the morphed version into the library in Poser first, then open Cararra and load that saved morphed version. It's a workaround to the problem.
I've had to do this for several sets. Sometimes it's because the morphs are .pmd, others is just the way the morphs are written. But saving to library in Poser always does the trick.

Thread: HELP! this is not conforming right | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Did you turn off IK on V4 before conforming? Sometimes that will be the issue.
Or it might be the falloff zones, which you can fix with the Joint Editor in Poser.

Thread: Apollo Max | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Aside from the one that came with the original Apollo, the updated version wasn't released.
BUT, pdxjims had a few that were available from OKCRandy's forums. Not certain if they're still available, but you could contact Randy via his store and find out.
And paganeagle had a "superhero suit" for Apollo made from pdxjim's bodysuit, too. He had it at his site; there might still be a link from the main Apollo page.

ExprssnImg.
There was a copyright dispute over a female character. He still has older sets @ Rendo, mostly character/texture sets. You might find some figures @ his website.

A lot of morph-centric vendors also use PMD files, which don't work in C unless you load them into the figure in Poser first, and save that file to the Library (or save the scene file).
Almost as bad as vendor who only use Poser Material files and no additional MATs.

Thread: learning carrara | Forum: Carrara
Mark Bremmer has a (pay for) tutorial available (first few chapters are free):
http://www.markbremmer.com/3Bpages/carrara6Pro.html
And DAZ has one available from PhilC.
Also, there are several video tutorials on YouTube.
Plus, the manual itself, available within Carrara.

Thread: What About Carrara? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You can do all of your set-up in Carrara if you like, since you are able to load Poser content through the runtimes.
But none of your specific Poser materials will work, and most other textures will need to be tweaked within Cararra to reduce shininess and adjust bump. Cararra handles displacement totally differently, and that would need to be added manually in most cases.
No quick "make/render art button" here.
Any python scripts you're used to using in Poser are not supported by Cararra either.
It's a good program, and has some great lighting options, plus the ability to create landscapes within the program itself. And it has a modeller. But if your just looking for a different render engine for Poser, be prepared for lots of tweaking on everything.
I switch back and forth between the two, still learning Cararra. Since I'm so used to Poser, I often just go back to it because I'm faster with it's features through long-term usage.

Thread: Poser 8 SR3 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Haven't noticed any problems with SR3.
I never had a problem with the library, and it's still working. Loads faster now.
IDL is working smoothly. No ugly artifacts when rendering! Before SR3, I would have black splotchiness, so I stopped using it. Precalculation is faster, too.
I haven't had a chance to try Cloth or Hair room with it yet.
I do like the options of the new conforming/scaling in the properties tab. Doesn't always work well, especially with crosstalk. Still testing...

Thread: Frank Frazetta R.I.P. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
His influence on comic books, fantasy art and film was phenomenal, and he was a true visionary; he inspired too many to list, including many of us in this community.
Especially if you grew up in the 60's-70's where his art was everywhere.
A sad day indeed.
