Thread: Vue 2014 Can't Complete Link to Poser Executable | Forum: Vue
I tried that. Vue 2014 brings up a message "Importing PZ3 requires Poser to be installed.... Please locate poser executable and try again." And it bring up the Poser executable dialogue. So it doesn't work.

Thread: well what do you think of vue 12? | Forum: Vue
Yeah, I thought of the spam thing, but didn't find it, UNfortunately. Funny though, because I got the announcement email. That one mentioned that download link/serials would be in a separate email. Oh well!

I'm still waiting my Vue email w/serial and download links. My Maintenance Paln even has over a year to go. I posted to the support site, so we'll see. I did get the email announcement.
Anyway, I'm envious of you guys! Good luck!

Another vote of approval. i'm working thru some tutorials myself; no complaints whatsoever. Also bought the materials pack. Will probably buy more.
Thread: Vue 8I Install Question | Forum: Vue
I run Vue8I on a Vista 64-bit machine. While the machine has several hard drives, the C: drive is only 320GB because I opted for a faster one - 10,000 rpm vs. the usual 7200 rpm (dunno how beneficial that was; programs still seem to load about the same). Anyway, to save space on that drive, I installed Vue and its resources on a separate 1 TB drive in a folder "Program Files" and it works just fine with no problems. Also put Poser 8 in the same place.Â
Thread: What Performance Changes (Vue6Inf to 7.5Inf) With This Hardware? | Forum: Vue
Yes, Vue8 came out today, I had to laugh. Amazing. And good news that it's only $50 more than the Vue 7.5 upgrade. Â
Thanks for all your replies.

Thread: Vue 6 Inf Crashes when Saving a Render to a file.. | Forum: Vue
Oh, sorry; I meant using P7 with Vue6 Inf. It was Victoria 4, coming out of P7. Should be been more specific as to the figure and version of Poser.
Haven't tried rendering to disk yet, and I want to put up Rendercows on 2 other machines and try that.  Â
I can save things when I render to the screen by doing a PrintScreen and then pasting into a photo editor, and trimming the picture out of the screen print.   But that's not terribly "elegant." :)
