Merci Gerald, Google a un excellent français. Je coupe et colle bien.
S'il vous plaît excuser mon retard à répondre. 3d est ma relaxation a donc céder à toutes les autres priorités.
Your solution is very interesting. I look forward to using it when it is ready.
Thread: Cache files in Daz Studio. | Forum: Virtual World Dynamics
Bonjour Gerald, It would be nice to have a second choice in regard to SEND ANIMATION TO HOST.
Users do tend to stick to what they know, so tend to just use one option even when given an alternate. Getting users to understand which option gives them the best result is difficult. I know I do not read manuals as much as I should. Like most people I like the smug satisfaction that comes from thinking I know how something works without reading the manual (ignorance is bliss ).
The DAZ team has their own priorities, as example the BVH import and export functions were faulty when I first used DAZ many years ago and it is still faulty as at v4.10 so it may be difficult to get an additional feature added.
If I understand your proposed READ CACHE method correctly I think it would be good to have a method that progressively transfers the animation to DAZ. An additional advantage of that would be that if the simulation crashes then not all would be lost. The disadvantage may be that if the total thread task load is the same then this would imply that it would slow down the simulation. I suspect that it would also slow down the simulation even when sourced from POSER (and not from DAZ).
Je vous remercie (please excuse my google French)

Thread: VWD problem nailing it down | Forum: Virtual World Dynamics

Hello. I have a question Will 「VWD Cloth And Hair」 and 「Daz Studio bridge for VWD Cloth and Hair」 function correctly even if I upgrade Daz Studio to 4.10 Pro? Thank you.
Hello tkhjk
For Daz Studio 4.10 it is best to use the 4.10 bridge fix that Philemot provide in thread "https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2918429&page_number=2#"
His original bridge will work but some items may fall apart when simulated in VWD (depends on how the item was made). Daz changed their export function in 4.10 so that the weld functionality that was used by the original bridge to hold parts together when copied to VWD, no longer works. The fix that Philemot release overcomes the problem.

Balloon effect: When you selected Dawn (or Pauline2) as the collision object what Collision distance did you use? The default is 0.2 Nail to collision: I note that you have it set to 1. That will have almost no "Nail to" effect. Try 0.1 (which I think is the default). If you want it to have some movement then try 0.2
But this is all in the manual that came with VWD!
Have a Happy New Year.
Thread: Use VWD-generated object as cloth again? (Daz bridge version) | Forum: Virtual World Dynamics
It looks like the Bridge (version 1.4.0.114) is not completely compatible with DAZ 4.10.0.101 It does not copy all surfaces, and copied objects cannot be reused by the Bridge.
Surfaces If when running Bridge for first time on a cloth object the user does not manually selects the "Read Material Library" in the OBJ Import Options popup the new object will only receive one surface called "default". If the user does manually select "Read Material Library" then the new object still only receives one surface but that surface has the same name as the first surface in the original object.
New Object reuse The new object cannot be reused by Bridge as cloth. Even if object name is changed. It will fail at READ OBJ FILE and give an error "Violation d'accès à l'adresse 0068D91D dans le module 'VWDClothAndHair.exe', Lecture de l'adresse 00000004.". (my apologies if I have misquoted the French, my one year of high school French was more than forty years ago) Have tried saving new object and removing "VWD" from object name and then reimporting new object (exported/saved as DUF, OBJ, DAE, FBX). But all attempts to use new object as cloth with Bridge fail with the same error. Have tried clearing all exchange files. OS decimal delimiter is set to ".".
Work around Use DAZ 4.9.4.122 NOTE a new object created via VWD in DAZ4.10 can be reused as cloth in DAZ4.9 however it only has single surface so cannot use all same materials as original.

The path to VWD that the daz bridge uses is stored in the registry. DAZ / Studio4 (or Studio4PublicBuild) / VWD Bridge

It would be good if the Daz Bridge could pick up the geometry of PROPs when the PROP is parented to a skeleton(or bone). The bridge currently only picks up PROPS if they are on the root or parented to other PROPs. Using code to move the PROP (e.g. used as a collision hull) to follow a node is not difficult but an extra step it would be nice to do without. Is it just that the bridge only looks for child "bones" when traversing the skeleton.
Thread: Price for VWD | Forum: Virtual World Dynamics
I consider the price of the current version to very good value, as is.
I would buy a version 2, protected or not. However I do have reservations about purchasing from sources that don't have strong reputations (i.e. it has been many years since I have purchased directly from another developer or low reputation market site).
I would not buy it if it contained 3rd party advertising, even if it were free.
Disclaimer, I may be have a bias in that I am more a amateur coder than an amateur 3D artist.

VWD, Sorry I have not checked back with this thread.
Try changing your screen setting for the "size of text, apps and other items" from 100% change it to 300%.
In windows10 go to Settings > System > Display
"Change the size of text, apps and other items:" use the slider to change size.
The default is 100%. On the system with the fault I have it set to 300%.
The reason I had it set to 300% is that on a high resolution (4K) screen at 100% some text and icons are too small to read easily. Changing it to 300% makes it much easier to read fine text items.
If I change the setting back to the default (100%) the fault goes away.
Thread: Has anyone seen this kind of error? | Forum: Virtual World Dynamics
Yes. It has been mentioned in the "Errors And Potential Bugs: Please Post Errors In This Thread" thread.
It has nothing to do with hardware. It is a software limitation. The parameters you have set may be trying to generate more springs than the software can handle. Try changing the "Extended stiffness" setting back to the defaults. If that does not work try using the "Use springs reduction" checkbox. There is more detail on it mentioned in the "Errors And Potential Bugs: Please Post Errors In This Thread" thread.

Significantly or not here is what I have noted on the PC where the hair tab opening without importing a hair actor:
If the user opens the Simulation parameters tab the Hair parameters tab closes and no longer opens when user clicks on any item in Host List.
The VWD program opens with part of its window outside of the main screen window (off to the right).
The tabs initially don't arrange themselves evenly (i.e. they don't all have the same height and there are gaps below the Collision parameters and Vertices parameters tabs).
When the user clicks these tabs they assume a shorter height than they their initial height. A second click is required to open these tabs initially. After they have been opened only a single long click is required to open them.
Note that both the PCs are running the same screen resolutions.

Have found that another of my PC's does have this error (hair Tab opening without importing a hair actor). Happens for both DAZ 64bit versions 4.9.2.70 and 4.9.3.71publicbuild.
Tested with exactly same scenes as on PC that does not have the error. PC with error has VWD in same location as on PC that does not have the error. PC with error has same software versions as PC that does not have the error. Tested using VWD (version1.0.408.2976), Daz to VWD (VWDPython.dse version4.8 plugin version1.4.0.114), Python (version3.6.0a4 64bit), DAZ (64bit versions 4.9.2.70 and 4.9.3.71publicbuild) Windows10 64bit (PC without error is a Win10 Preview version). Both PC's are Intel CPUs with Nvidia GPUs (both PCs are currently running save Nvidia driver and version).
I have tried Delete all Exchange files, and also manually deleting all files in Exchange folder. I have tried Restore Default Parameters. I have tried copying VWD INI file from PC without error to PC with error. No change to error.
Thread: Help for bug | Forum: Virtual World Dynamics
I do not get that error. Tested (as per workflow in video) using G2 and G3 with different cloth items and props/primitives. I also tried adding multiple collision items. With multiple collision items I also tried adding them in different sequence (e.g. collision cloth collision and cloth collision collision) (note: adding them before running a simulation).
I did not get the hair Tab opening without importing a hair actor.
I did however come across a couple of other issues which I will investigate further and report in the "Errors And Potential Bugs: Please Post Errors In This Thread" thread if they prove to be a program related issue.
Tested using VWD (version1.0.408.2976), Daz to VWD (VWDPython.dse version4.8 plugin version1.4.0.114), Python (version3.6.0a4 64bit), DAZ (64bit versions 4.9.2.70 and 4.9.3.71publicbuild) Windows10 64bit

The uninstall of Python 2.7.12 and/or Python 3.5.2 (64bit) and install of Python 3.6.0a4 (64bit) appears to have fixed the problems I was experiencing. Fixed for both Poser11 and DAZ Bridge and on both editions of Windows10.
However I did get a couple of Violation errors when using Poser11 with Python 3.6.0a4(64bit) and VWD. I also received an error 13 (or 30 I don't remember which). I was doing quite a bit of experimenting within poser trying to recall how to use it and the error may relate to some sort of data cache situation. I closed Poser11 and reopened it and was then not able to reproduce the error again.
