you're gonna havto add it poser 10 to the daz content directory
1 . in daz studio goto~Edit ...
then to Preferences ~
then to Content library ~
then to content directory manager ~
click poser formats ~
then click add -
then navigate to your poser 10 runtime folder ~
then click accept
Hope i didnt miss a step
then you should be able to see poser 10 in the content library
where u can now goto figures an bring the character into daz

While in edit viewSelect all vertices
Open tool side window ( hit T on keyboard )
And click remove all doubles
That should do it

here's 1 i did but lost when computer crashed
( Dynamic hair ) wish i could remember settings
i rather use dynamic for animation to make more realistic
