Thread: OT: 3d gone wrong | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
it's not a couple of experts with nothing better to do than recreating bachs face that troubles me, but the legion of experts with nothing better to do than inventing more efficient weapon-systems, which seems to be widely considered as normal and useful.
Thread: 2 questions on SpawnCharacterP6 | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
hi! Q:"It should not ignore magnets, I'll have to look into that when I have time." well, may i send you the morph-setting pz2 and the mags of one of my v3 characters? then we can compare the results - maybe there is something wrong on my end of the line ... ;) Q:"When you spawn a morph target manually, a morph delta for EVERY vertex is generated, even if the delta is zero." i am sorry but i have to disaggree in this point. i still use p5 in 99.9%, my system's too old for the newer versions (to rotate the camera around v3 is a slideshow). and p5 writes only deltas for the vertices that actually have been moved. is that different in p6/7? i haven't tried it yet... Q:"I put this functionality in the script to make the resulting .pz2 files smaller." definitely a good and smart idea! the only thing that worries me is the seams between bodyparts (like the crappy area around v3's sternum).

talking 'bout analogies ... who's ralph lauren and who are you? selfconfidence is a good thing to have, but overdoing it leads hardly ever to a good end, especially in public. but this is definitely OT... what i mean is basically: the reward for work is money. M-O-N-E-Y-! and qualified work takes a lot of money - that's the way it is...

hey, sure you (and ignis) are absolutely right! a noob can't test a product, because he doesn't have enough experience and knowledge to tell left from right... still, a product beta doesn't pay for knowledge or the invested time. it's like going to the dentist for the 6-months-check and you tell him:"hey, dude, you can keep what you find, ok?" see?
Thread: Product Review Confusion | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Nope. All reviews, good or bad, are allowed provided they are within the TOS. That's to say, you can't just say a product is a load of crap but you can say something along the lines of:
The seams are not finished properly, the MAT poses don't work, the mesh isn't optimized for Poser...
And so forth.

pink and wishful thinking, sam... some time ago i posted a review for a bestseller-merchants latest peach. in this review i said: - that the textures are too blurred, - that the bumpmaps are not much good, - that most of the pz2's are unnecessarily big, - that dialling a couple of bodymorphs is disappointing, - and that the face is very pretty. consequently i gave 1 star of 5. the review was deleted within a day or two, and i got a mail from 'staff@renderosity.com' saying that... Q:"Your Product Review submission has been removed due to one of the following reasons below: - Personal attacks. - Profanity or obscenities. - Technical support for the product. (Please use SiteMail to contact Vendor) - Review was posted twice. - You requested to have the review removed. blablabla..." welcome to planet earth... ;)

hi! afaik there's three different kinds of testing poser stuff. there's merchants who ... a) just want to be sure that everything loads properly. b) trade freebies for compliments. c) want somebody to check their products for flaws. if c) ... i'm interested. ;) you ask for knowledge and experience - i got both! BUT: a product beta is work, not a reward. since you do not want to give your knowledge and skills for free i am sure you will understand that i will not work for a 'thank you' too. should you be willing to pay me, then pls contact me via sitemail. rgds A.
Thread: How can you make some money with Poser - really? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
i don't think becoming a top seller is as difficult as most people think. what you need is a couple of merchant resources and some basic knowledge with photoshop. turn a dozen of bodymorph-dials and a dozen for the head (do never forget 'LashesLength'!), zip it up and ready is your new v4-character set! you see, easy money! and when you sell your products here on renderosity you don't even have to worry about refunds. 'cause there are none! isn't that just cewl!!! hey, what are you waiting for? c'mon, make a quick buck! make us happy! sorry, guys, i couldn't resist....

k, here's my penny... - connie is a good gal and what she said is smart. - z-planar mapping is insufficient for clothes. - there is not much loss about the textures when the model is remapped. - imo a.max is at the moment the most difficult character to make conforming stuff for. maybe you want to stay with easier characters for your next projects. - i am happy to see a vendor who tries to create historical outfits instead of the usual softporn/fantasy stuff. my best wishes for your career on the posermarket. A. pls take a look at this thread: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2727404 this vendor has my sympathy.
