file_499880.jpg

here genesis5,hair is genesis4's.

but no bump or displacement with body.

i use bump image RGB:40,40,40,and the same with displacement

and change bump min and max  or displacement max and min,and no fruit.

what is the right bump or displacement image RGB?

and here specular's color is low red and the same as ambient.is it right?

and i change subsurface is also that color,is it right?

what is velvet?

Hmm firstly i'm nt sure how appropriate your image is for the forums i expect A moderator may pop in and remove it.

Are you using a grayscale image for your bump maps? Generally the color value should left at white. Height and depth is added by variation in the greyscale image map with white being high and black being low.

specular relates to the shiness of an object

ambient should be black unless the item is glowing...

i suggest it might be worth looking at the quickstart and user guide for daz studio there is a sticky at the top of the forum.
