Description

Travel ton Tibet was a children´s dream, especially when one read all e books of l´explorer Alexandra David-Neel. But it is necessary to accept all the conditions imposed by Chinese occupant. I feel hardily divided, it´s like making tourism in a prisioner´s camp. In the past, we see the Potala, the palace of Dalais LAMA´s, by far. Today is necessary to cross a long zone of barrackments and horrible constructions for finally seeing it. The historical center of Lassa is gradually destroyed. In front of the palate there was a splendid lake which reflected its beauty. Today, there is a giant square, in the style of place Tien Amen. The militars, the police force and the cameras of monitoring are everywhere. To have this sight of Potala, it is necessary to go up on the roof of Jokang Temple and to take this view, removing all it is horrible of the image… PS- I am a simple photographer, but want learn a little of Digital Art. What of differents softwares (Photoshop, Terragen, Brice, VUE …) can to transform it and give more impact? What you sugest? Thank you has all your interest and your wonderful comments!

Do not alter it unless you want to do something say, fantasy with it. It takes my breath away with such wonderful pictures. Your photographs capture the essence of raw emotion, and retouching it would ruin it(in my humble opinion).

Pauvre Tibet.

Bravo !

Another of your beautiful pictures! These are so interesting not only because of the topics you chose, but also the issues you raise. You allow a glimpse into a society that most of us have never had a chance to see. Thank you very much. P.S. I hope that someone can help you with digital enhancements, it is difficult to do over the net.

This photograph is very fantastic. I'm awfully sorry that a historical building is lost. Thank you for your friend request. I am glad at your comments.

Another one of my travel stops this spring, especially with the Lhasa express now open and running. Lovely picture that shows the majesty of the scenery. Although, you know, there is no picture that can replace actually being there.

Quelle vue magnifique!

Wonderful photo. +5 Dalai Lama is a amazing person. Tibet is a magic place. I feel sorry for the people of Tibet. I really do. China is being rude and wicked agains the people of Tibet i think. I use Daz Studio it is free, and Photoshop 7 not free. But Marcia and Flavio use Poser 7 i think. But it depend on what you want to make with it. If it is for portraits of nature.. Brice or VUE might be best. But i only worked with 3d for 4 months.. So i might not be the best to ask for advice.
