Have you grouped it? And could those odd polygons somehow belong to another group (or material zone)? Looks very odd indeed.

Yea its Been Grouped To all the Right Groups. I even did it @ times to be safe... =( I will post the Group part to show

You're going to need to re-do the UV mapping on this. The UV co-ords in that spot are messed up. Load it up in UV mapper, you'll probably find those facets off in one corner or something. Nerd

Its The Same Thing on Both Sides Of the Item.. I Redid The Uvs and I still get the same thing I regropup It over and over

If the item has double sided polygons and your using P5, then you need to add a tiny displacement to each material, and set the displacement bounds appropriately (see linked thread).

OK THis is Whats Seems To be Going on. I Used UV Maper To Split The Shirt Front and Back. And This seems To Be causeing this. I i Dont use the Split by oritan and Keep it all together I dont get the mis place poly. This is strange. This Seems to happen With ever thing I made So far I just Check some other Iteams. Wounder why? sorry its p4

That's it. Those orphanded polygons actually face the back while the ones around them face the front. A better way to do this (This should be a tutorial) In UV mapper create a view from the side. Plannar. X axis

Now assign select the polygons that should face front and assign them to a region

Now invert the selection and assign the rest to a new region called "back"

With those polygons still selected assign them a new plannar map, don't split it and this time use Z axis

Now select the front region you saved earlier and give it the same style map

If you want to venture into unwrapping the model this is an easy one to start with. A cylindrical map with just a touch of offset on the z axis will unwrap the top nicely. Happy Rendering! Nerd

Oh I would wish someone would do an easy-to-understand tutorial of the offset thingies in UVMapper (pro) I've simply never understood how they work. And being a total math-illiterate I always have to try them all to figure out which axis is x and which is z. The Y is USUALLY easy (from the top) but as soon as bu original ovj isn't facing straight ahead I'm lost. Help?

Yeah and Poser's world being twisted 90 on the X axis doesn't help either. And don't feel bad I'm a math brain and I have to try them all first too. Nerd
