Hi, I'm trying to pose a dragon in Daz but the poor thing's tail end keeps dropping off when I try to move the tail - help?

Hi, FranOnTheEdge! Which Dragon are you trying to use, and are you using the updated version of DAZ|Studio? I'll see what I can do to help you out ;) MS

That release is a little buggy. Ok, it was a lot buggy. What I'd recommend first is to upgrade to the latest version of D|S, and see if you get the same problems with the latest build ;). If not, let me know, and I'll see if I can duplicate your problem with my Mil Dragon ;) MS

Hi, Fran, I'm diligently trying to break the tail off of my dragon, to no avail. Is there a possibility of a screenshot of the broken tail? :D Thanks a bunch! MS

Is it possible that you (or a D|S glitch) have unhidden the translation dials on the tail? You should have Bend, Twist and Side-to-side sliders in the parameters palette, but not x-trans, y-trans and z-trans.

Screen shot as requested - with the dials, just in case it means anything to you.

aha. That is actually a fin "prop" figure that attaches to the tail. What you need to do is go to your "Scene" panel, and select the tail prop. When the "Parameter" panel shows the tail prop, look at the "Fit to" entry, and make sure it says "Millenium Dragon 2" or equivalent, otherwise, it won't fit to the character. Cheers! MS
