I've never heard of dynamic footwear before. Not even sure if there is any out there. Doubt it though.

Another alternative is making them smart props but requires using the polygon Group Tool
Load in the VF boots or shoes from your Virtual Fashion runtime
In the Pose Room open the Group tool.
3. Select mesh_1. Add Group and select mesh_4 (to select the Right boot)
Click on Create Prop and name, Right Boot
Do the same for mesh_2 Add Group and select mesh_3 (to select the Left boot)6. Click on Create Prop and name, Left Boot
Close the Group tool
Now you can the delete the VF props Mesh 1, 2, 3 and 4.
You can then select each new boot prop, parent to the figure, then add them to the Props library as a smart prop
Hope this helps as an alternate solution (in an alternate universe :)

ps. Here's my latest rough test case using VF to create the costume, boots and dynamic cape.
Well those old boot sworked ok for that pose. The news boots and the 149 frame animation were a different story. I ended up doing as you said only slightly different. I selected the VF Boot prop went to the pose room and clicked on the grouping tool:
1: Created a New Group called rBoot
2: Added all the meshes for the right boot to this group.
3: Spawned Props
4: Exported the new rBoot
5: Same Steps for lBoot
6: Deleted all unneccesary new props spawned by spawn prop and the original VF prop
7: Imported each separate boot as a new single prop
8: Parented the new prop to her hip
8a: Went into the Material Room and created new material groups called Soles, Leather and Yellow for the yellow band I have on the new boots around the top. Then assigned the right materials to them.
9: Went into cloth room and created new simulation and set up collisions
10: Placed the whole boot into the dynamic group
11: Placed the tops and soles of the boots into the constrained group
12: Successfully ran the simulations.
13: Am now rendering frames 30-149 as a cool animation of Supergirl taking flight!
Please help me, every thing works great in terms of creating the props, I've used both methods and there's no problem. BUT I can't get smart propping to work. I know it should be simple. I've followed the manual explanation, I've followed the smart prop tutorial in the 'rosity Poser tutorial section but I never get the dialogue asking me if I want to make this object a smart prop.
I import my object, I place it to fit my figure, I parent the object to my figure, then add to library, I name it, I select the subset ( just the object I want to smart prop) click OK and it adds to the library but not as a smart prop and I don't get the smart prop dialogue. What am I missing? If someone could post a couple of step by step screenshots I would be most appreciative.
If I remember this correctly, when you actually enter the subset button and click a checkbox you disable the smart prop feature. Try parenting the prop then saving and skipping the "Select Subset" button step. As long as it's already a single object when you have it selected you shouldn't need to select any subsets in anycase.
