Well a lot better example of perversion in action of an ex-husband taking out a grudge than images created in Poser don't you think?

Perversion of the subject of the topic for ulterior motives is a lot worse than pin-ups made with Poser which is at the heart of what I think the prob that Robo2010 had was with people with ulterior motives to try and force their opinions about morality onto his creative vision.

I prefer to UNDRESS my dolls, thank you all the same.  I frankly find it a less offensive pastime than hacking into government computers and spying on ones neighbors.  And while some, including members of my close family, consider it a vile exercise to be playing around all the time with naked women, I find that I genuinely enjoy the challenge, and the creative process that it evokes within me, from manipulating objects and composing scenes.

Difficult as it may be, it's better to ignore trolls than to react. In case the posted messages contain details you consider to be of a private nature (internet stalking might be one) you can contact "the law" and very probably he will be banned from the internet.

You refer to the FAT one in my gallery??  I don't remember any fat girl in my gallery, unless you're possibly referring to my (naked) render of Dina (See link above); but I wouldn't really call her fat...pleasingly plump maybe, with cushioning in ALL the right places. 
I had fun posing her juxtaposed beside a magazine cover dipicting the real-life women from whon she was modeled.  That might be why she reminded you of someone, because she IS someone.
As for your other contentions, you might like to know that Poser 5 now sells for as little as &20.00 at Content Paradise.  So why don't you buy a copy and just see how fun playing with dolls can be.  The great thing about them is that they DON'T argue, and are ALWAYS in the mood for whatever you have in mind.  And what you have in mind might actually turn out artistic

Hurm.  Lets see, I'm a born again believer, in a conservative religion, who happens to think that when God created Male and Female, he declared them Good.  God told people to be fruitful and multiply, several times in the Bible--so that was blessed as well.  So images of people folowing what God told 'em to do are perverted?

And I've seen a LOT of Wonderful 3d renders that have absolutely nothing to do with sex.  So if a bluenose tells you something is only used by Perverts, chances are they're amongst the people who look for the perverted stuff....

Following that logic, Computers shouldn't be used since Computers are used by a thriving porn industry; we should do away with Television and Movise, since there are pornos there, and we should ban all books and printing, since Pornography could be printed.

And when we're deprived of all the things that could be considered sexy, the only thing left will be sittin' around, talking and dreaming of...uh oh...

Sure Poser users are perverts, when you look closely at the word and meaning. A pervert is someone or something that deviates from the norm. Pervert is a relative measurement base on "normal" behavior. A witness withholding testimony causes perverted justice. At a Sun Club, the person always wearing clothing is the pervert, they are away from the expected normal. A Playmate dressed in a suit all buttoned up would be a pervert, she is not conforming to the norms of that business. Because "Normal" is not an absolute, it is very difficult to define perverted until you reach extremes. I most Western counties sexual relations with an animal is an extreme perversion, in other countries it's not. There are many things that effect our view of normal. My in-law considers having sex with the light on or during the day as perverted behavior, to her it is not "Normal". So are Poser Users perverts? Yes. Poser is not a "Normal" 3D modeling/rendering package, we don't use it in "Normal" accepted ways. Clearly it's a perversion of the purity of 3D Art. Any who push at the boundaries of the normal, are perverters. Don't fight it, embrace it.

That may be true, but the word is intended to be derogatory. It's like defending the use of the word "negro", because, according to the dictionary definition of that word, it fits a black person. But the black person may not thank you for using it.

Actually, it's more accurate to say that the -user- of the word may mean it to be derogatory. Considering some of what is considered to be 'normal' behavior and attitudes, I take great pride in being a pervert. And a loon. And all those other terms that individuals (who live in great fear of anyone Not Of The Herd) use to try and make them conform, or at least go away. That isn't defending anything. Perversion is purely a transitive measurment of deviance of the "what is good or morally right" by the perverse "turning aside or away from what is generally done or accepted by the culture in question".  At least ways by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

Check out the galleries. The "most viewed, "most commented" and "best rating" and see how many are nudes of some sort. You want someone to look at you fully dressed pic, post a nude thumbnail and see what happens.

I did a NVIATWAS 1 week, 11 hours and 56 minutes ago, and it has only been viewed 278 times.

So it seems that there is an art to getting views for a NVIATWAS and that not all NVIATWAS are created equal, because it didn't work for me,  LMAO

Ahh posting.... I have seen pics posted ( esp. weekends) that have moved three or four pages in a matter minutes. Pictures get posted so often that you move past the first page very quickly. Most people don't sit and surf more than a few pages. There is really nothing you can do about it. Just keep posting, perverted or not. ; )

 I agree "not all NVIATWAS are created equal" and it isn't the guarantee of hits some people think it is. I only got 104 views of one compared to 312 views of another. There are a lot of other factors involved as well.

The most viewd and most commented all have other things besides nudity, one being controversy and the other being loyalty to the people who did them.

I think the discussion should be re-focused: what is art? How do you define art? What is your objective?

(For example; the Marxists believe that art is a mirror of the society/just as science is another mirror, etc. etc).

So, go on, look at your pieces. Are they "art" in the sense that you/others define art? Do they make an artistic statement, carry value, message - or are they just titillation?

I think these are the questions and not the task of defining what is pervert or not.
