Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 11:02 am)
thanks geep! you convinced me of giving it a try... one question though... so far, when I've wanted to bump map something, I simply turn it into gray scale, then darken it with brightness and contrast, and then invert the colors... how did you accomplish those bumps in the sign? thanks for your valuable help... and I do have UVmapper, riddokun... I guess you can tell now why i wasn't so sure about making that eye prop myself, I still lack very much of the know-how by the way, how would you make those metal rings that hold the sign to the post? any tutorials about it

woah, that's cool, dr. geep... but, how big should I make the sign?? I mean, you didn't even measure the box to see how big the jpg file should be?? plus, I didn't know Poser could create the bump maps on its own!! darnation, and here I was spending hours making countless bump maps in photoshop... thanks, I'll save the jpg and see how I go, I'll post back..
Oops, sorry. ;=[ I didn't mean to be pedantic. What version of Poser are you using? The answer to your last question "... to what folder..." Poser puts the xyz.bum file in the same folder as the xyz.jpg that was used to generate it. If you want to look at the xyz.bum file in a graphics program, you may need to change the file extension. Ok? cheers, dr geep ;=]
