Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone. After trying all of your suggestions I think I have the problem solved. It turned out to be what layingback suggested. I renamed my png, opened poser and the thumb poser created showed up like magic. It's kind of odd, but as long as it works I don't care too much. I was kind of suspicious from the beginning because 4 of the 6 folders I was having problems with were from the same person. Maybe I'll have to let them know that there is something wrong with their png's. At any rate, thanks a bunch. It's always nice to know that if I ever have a problem I can always ask the forum and someone will have the solution. It hasn't failed yet. :) Thanks again, Josh

That's what I don't get. Most of his best programs are still available for free, like Tierazon, Ktaza and Vchira. I don't understand why he is now charging for the least sought after programs of his. The only one that I ever liked that isn't available for free anymore is Sterling. I guess I don't understand why he went the route of charging for them. If anybody does know I would be curious to find out. Josh

Thanks drawbridgep. I think I was misunderstanding what the randomize feature did. From using other programs I assumed that it would create x number of duplicates of an object scattered randomly. This would be great for scattering trees or other foliage across a landscape. Is there a feature like this in Bryce, where you can select a single object and create a number of duplicates scattered randomly? I know the multireplicate can do something similar to this, but it isn't really a random scattering. Or maybe there is a way to make multireplicate act in a more random way? Any help would be appreciated. Josh

Did you find this in Barlett's online or in a printed book? I thought I searched their site too, but maybe not. Anyway, thanks again. Thanks again everyone. Alt+tab doesn't work for me at all. And my task bar does show up. It's just that nothing works on it. I can click on the Start button and other buttons that show there, but they don't work unless I first minimize Bryce. Thanks for the replies everyone. It is irritating, but I guess I'll get used to it. I'm using WinXP Pro and with Bryce open nothing works unless I minimize Bryce. Alt+Tab doesn't even work. The task bar at the bottom of the screen shows, but nothing happens if I click on anything there. It kind of freaked me out the first time I opened Bryce. I thought it had crashed my system. Took me a few minutes to find the hidden menu bar at the top. Thanks again for the replies.

dke, just wanted to give a sincere Thank You! for making this tutorial available. I just started playing around with a Poser 4 demo and I haven't a clue what I'm doing. Tutorials like this help out a lot. And thanks too for making it available to download so we can view it offline. I wish more tut writers would do this. Thanks Dragon. It sounds like I would be better off going with P4 right now. I suppose you lose some information when you use an .obj file don't you? I think I read some threads about people importing Poser characters into Bryce as .obj and having to do a bunch of extra work to make it look right again. Anyway, thanks a bunch for the response. Yeah, that's what I thought thgeisel. So I'm not sure what the writer of that post was getting at, just that it's easier to export in P4? You asked why P5? Personally, I don't have eiter P4 or P5 yet. I'm trying to decide which one to buy. Right now you can get P5 pretty cheap at some places, but as has been stated in other posts it's a crapshoot whether it will work as advertised. But it does seem to have some cool features that P4 doesn't have. Anyone else have any thoughts on import/export issues in P5? Thanks, Josh
