Kimberly.3D:
There are two different programs that you can use:
One is Ditto. You can read about it in the Macintosh forum here at Renderosity:
www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php
or go download it here:
http://web.mac.com/ilikecomputing/SoftwareDev/dittoGUI.html
The other one is a program in the store here:

or if the old runtime is on the same computer you can just add it in Poser. It works at least in Poser 6 and newer and I believe in Poser 5 as well.

If you purchased the stuff from DAZ (and didn't get them off some magazine cd or something like that) you should be able to redownload the items from your account at DAZ3D in Mac format.
They have converted some of the old installers so that they will run on OSX.

There is an error in P7 on Leopard that prevents rendering in a separate process. Look here:

Poser Pro is reported to work, however. (I don't have it myself, only Poser 7.)

I live in Malmö, Sweden, and I can't reach DAZ using Telia. Tele2 works though.
I contacted the support at Telia yesterday and they said it was a routing problem.

Thank you, SamTherapy and mylemonblue :) I think she has a good set of expressions morphs and as others have said, she bends quite well.

My experience is that files with pc style paths will open fine on the mac, only it takes longer time for Poser to locate the files.
Also, you can hook your pc up to your mac to transfer stuff directly. I have both a mac and a pc and I do that often. As mentioned before, assuming you're using Poser 5 or later, the only real problem are rsr-files instead of png's for thumbnails.
At this page you can see how you can network mac&pc:

If you are opening the file in Poser 5 or later, the only problem is that the paths in the pz3-file most certainly are wrong, so you may get dialog boxes to find the textures and obj-files manually.
And of course, the products used in the pz3 have to be installed on the Mac as well.

There, fixed that for you. Poser 7 can use longer file names just fine.
That's nice :)

Quote - > Quote - I ran into a problem using Matmatic in Poser 6 on the mac. It seems that a file name can't be more than 31 characters. I've never come across any problems with paths though.
Some more details are in post 77 at the link.
There's some outdated info here, I have a pdf file that has a 69 character file name and it's not on the desktop it's 2 levels down so that tosses both file name and path name limits.
Mathmatic must still be laboring under the OS9 limits since OSX allows much longer names.
My answer was obviously unclear here. I meant that Poser has a problem with long file names. OSX certainly doesn't. Just for fun I made a file name over 200 characters long on the desktop, and it worked fine in Finder.

You can go to Netherworks and download the original Hair Conversion Kit. It's in the shop but it is a freebie. Mike 2 is one of the supported figures.
