Ive taken a look at it on a friends computer, as he already purchased it... I was kinda disappointed... The export feature does not really work, all I saw was error messages that I was not allowed to export a scene or it resulted in useless crap... I still miss a modeler, maybe just a FEW more options than with the vue primitives... In my eyes the export feature was the only reason to get the Pro, but as it doesnt really work... :(

Did you check the flicker reduction filter? If nothing works, then Id render single bmp files of the animation and make the avi with an external tool, so you got more control...

Ive taken a look at the avi you posted, but its so small and short, I can hardly see anything... Have you checked fog/haze settings? How does single rendered frames look, when you do not render it as animation, but a single image? Is it still grainy then?

Update to vue 4.2... I never had such a problem, I also think you just select more than the object...

Its most likely NOT a problem of render settings, but Codec settings... Watch the codec and quality you choose!

Rather move the camera, NOT the scene... If you really MUST turn the complete scene, then save before doing so, group ALL objects to ONE group, then try turning that, good luck vue is not crashing, save before doing so... I always rather turn the camera itself, with the mover wizard you can easily make it go around the house...

Thread: Vue and Shade - any possibilities | Forum: Vue
I tried importing shd models into my vue 4.1 windows, but vue didnt recognize the file format... Which version did you use to import .shd files into vue, was that vue 4 professional? Or any older version? I still got vue 3 and vue 2 for win somewhere around, should I use one of these?

Vue is just great... Rendering is sometimes a little bit slow and I still miss a modeler, but its probably one of the best landscape generators... I use it for nearly everything, poser import is just great, poser animations work very good with mover... Get it, its much too cheap for what its capable...

Thread: Where did all the highlights lights Go? | Forum: Vue
Are you sure you also had exactly these 2 lights also placed in Vue? Can you check the helmet material in vue? Normally you should be able to "open" the figure if it has a "+" in front of its name, when you click on that... Materials aside from Textures are not always 100% what they are in Poser when you import them, so check that...

Ive tried different drivers for my matrox card, but after experimenting a bit I always ended up in turning it off... That seems the more stable and in some cases even faster option...
