Think about it beards and mustashes that automatically morph to the shape of the face and mouth. You could run Mimic throw down a P4NM and a EMC beard and within minutes have a perfect animated model.

Thanks guys, here is a passing idea I've been working on. An articulated morph system that would simulate the movement of the chest and diaphram during typical breathing. Your new technique added to an entire figure's simulated musculature, and a breathing morph would allow for some rather realistic animations.
Thread: The BIG question: The cost of art? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey thanks everyone, I really appreciate the VERY quick response. Right after this I'm off to go search for the book Don suggested. Thank you spike, I will keep an inventory burned and cataloged of all professional work. And thank you very much Allerleirauh, that should give me a quick idea what estimate to give someone over the weekend. Perhaps a professional forum would be a good idea, that way we can keep updated and make sure that none of the contributers to free stuff. I'm going to be doing work in the Baltimore, MD - Washington D.C. area. So if there are any more estimates for this zone lemme know I'd love to find out more.

Wacom all the way my man. Just got mine less than 24 hours ago. This is like magic. Get an Intos model. For a good price try the publishers Toolbox. www.pubtools.com they are really nice. If you go for a reconditioned model (ie overstocked) you can get $40 or more off the price. Found out that 3d programs like Amorphium are great, you can sculpt and the eraser tool really makes the job even easier. And making texture maps are now a piece of cake.

That looks great! With some tweaking you could add in the mouth phoneme morphs someone is working on for the cat and have a Mimic compatable mouse.

Thread: A More fair comparison - P4NF, EVE & Victoria | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the different angles. This time what really struck me about Victoria is her defined chin and jaw. I'm curious as to the overall facial morphs this time for phonemes, are they the same as P4NF or is there more refinement in mouth and jaw morphs?

I have a copy of 3dSM R3, still on that learning curve. Many of the import and export filters just don't seem to give me the results I want. (IE solid figures) And for some odd reason the DFX files I export just can't be read as solids in the CAD/CAM software. Ill definitely try to export to export to 3ds, and vrml and see if it helps. (Quick Note: I have not seen the CAD/CAM software for this project, nor have I seen any of the machines that will carve it. This has been a lot of trial and error trying to find a file type that can be imported into the CAD/CAM software) I really appreciate your help and anyone elses suggestions too.
Thread: More work on the eye. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Looks wonderful, but the eyelid does not look flush to the eyeball. I too have been killing myself trying to get a nice wet glossy semi reflective look to appear on the eyes. You seem to be getting closer to it than I am. Great Job.
Thread: Minor Crisis With RDS5 (Making new Poser Figures) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks again Clint, here is what I see in the Polymesh pull down menu. -Adjust... (Greyed out) -Send to Drawing Plane -Boolean Operation (Greyed out) -Set Size -Smooth Edges -Sharpen Edges -Set Crease Angle... Again I'm stumped as to what is going wrong. I'm running RDS5.02 for the PC. Please if anyone can tell me what is going wrong (and how to fix it) I'd be really grateful.

Thank you very much, but the procedure for clean reinstallation didn't seem to help me at all. Thanks for the address though.

Thank you very much for your quick responce Foxhollow. Apparently in her lastest attempt I've been told that the program is best at importing NURBS... I'm going to suggest trying to invert normals and try to also make a conversion to NURBS if I can.. Thanks again.

One thing you could add to the texture map would be the star shaped implant located by her left ear.
