Quote - Are some folks browsing the thumbs by moving their cursor over them as they go, or something; like a kid reading? I mean, I have the hand-eye coordination of a window impacted bird, and I can look through the thumbnail pages without seeing the popup at all...
...I've always kept the cursor away from the thumb because I don't like the silly pointy-hand thing stuck in front.
LOLOL!!!
Adding a thank you for the new galleries. Just uploaded something today and was thrilled to be able to choose to 'resize' or not. I figure, if people like the smaller version enough, they'll click the biggie. ;)
Also... FINALLY I can preview everything before upping it to the gallery! Rendo RULES!

Thread: Information on the resizing images issue.... | Forum: Community Center
I visit one of the largest photography sites on the net; and it used to display all images at full size with an option to zoom out; then they changed it to "one size fits all". And that was that. Member input went unheeded.
All that to say... I truly appreciate all that you have been doing to accomodate us. In my impatience, I had forgotten that coding a site like this can be very complex, time consuming, even tedious. Changes for the better are always worth waiting for, but they cannot always transpire overnight.
When I read the post saying that you guys didn't listen, my mouth dropped... and I actually laughed out loud. I have to commend you, Stacey, not only for the professionalism of your response to that, but the sweetness of your demeanor. Your kindness shines through all you do, and I want you to know that it is visible, appreciated, and admired. The world could benefit from a lot more "Staceys".
To williamsn: Congrats on your new bike! Enjoy, be safe... and I envy you. lol
Thanks again everyone!! I love this site for good reasons!! :D
Thread: Image Resizing is really NOT a good idea | Forum: Community Center
Well, Safari = Mac only browser, so that was the 1st big clue right there. I love my Mac, too, but I use my PC far more because it's newer (better specs) and has a large screen.
That having been said: Can you PLEASE accomodate the majority? This makes no sense. The images look like absolute s***.
If anything, follow Acadia's suggestion and reverse the default. Let the image display at its original size, and allow the user to zoom out. I know you guys don't want large images stretching the tables in which they appear, and so this is your idea of uniformity... but it sucks. Out loud.

Deb, you're fast! :P Another great comment about the WW is that Phil's support is unbeatable. When I wrote to him with a question, I blinked -- and there was the response in my inbox. :D Getting this was like purchasing the same wardrobe for all the characters in my library. kid in a digital candy store. :D
Thread: Survey & Freebies? | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Ya' beat me to it, Clint. However, the download links didn't appear until the 2nd time I completed the survey. No way would I have missed those pretty, silver buttons. :P Even when I checked again (post before yours), they simply weren't there. Thank you for responding. :)

Alrighty, note to mods: I went back and filled in the survey again, and the download links appeared. However, I do not wish to jeopardize the integrity of the survey -- so please check my I.P. (or user name, if that is sufficient), and delete one of my responses (should they both register). I filled in the same answers. :)

Oops. I never saw a submit button. LMAO
(Thank you) ;) EDIT: I looked again. I did hit a button called "Submit answers" and was taken to another page. But I didn't see any links afterwards. (I knew I clicked on summat) afterwards. :D

Please. Do yourself a HUGE favor and get the Wardrobe Wizard!
I cannot explain the joys. Go look at the site. This could not be any easier, I assure you. You'll die when you see the list of figures that this product supports. ENJOY!

Thank you Deb. :) I juuuuuust installed a Download Manager -- never used one before -- and I was surprised that it jumped in when I tried to do the download.
Didn't know that was the default setting for the program.
Advice heeded ;)

I looked all over this site to find out if downloads were limited. Seems to be only 2 downloads permitted; is that correct?
Thread: Can't find Download Link After Purchase | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
:( There ought to be an easier way to expedite a secure transaction. If the system that PayPal uses (which allows instant access to the items purchased) can't be used here for 1st time users, then at LEAST phrase the bit at the bottom a bit more clearly, or change the sequence of the process by which we order altogether. Though I read the bit at the bottom before clicking the button, I was confused as to what to do and when. Okay, I filled out the form... yeah... I'm reading about first time users.... hey! that's me! ... Um...
Umm....
So what, do I now send the email, or do I send this form, or or or....? I'm CONFUUUUUUUSEDDDDD!
But soft! It says my download is immediately available! HUH?! Oh well, guess that message was outdated or summat...
Hmmm... Where's the link?? Wonders if I get sent an email confirmation. But no, I didn't read anything about getting an email. WHAT TO DO?! searches all over, finds this page >:X
AnyHOO, the blurb to 1st time users should be altered. Place it prominently at the top, for one. Two, remove the deceptive "You've got mail!" oops, "Your download is available", or whatever. 'Cause it ain't. Three, let us know that we should check our email, or we begin to wonder wtf is going on.
...I'm really NOT a mean person.
Thread: Poser 5 & Bryce 5... A bit of help, please? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Slinger, thanks again, so much, for letting me know I'm on the right track. ;) I had dug through the files for all the textures for the clothes and skin, but man, I don't know why doing the same for the hair eluded me. This is great news for me! And I appreciate your attitude concerning the basic questions I asked. I did feel inadequate, but you just upped my confidence. ;)
Thread: Poser 5 & Bryce 5... A bit of help, please? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks a lot, slinger. I went to your site, and found that you answered one of my (unasked) questions. I had been checking the box for using exact internal names when exporting from Poser... Wow. It's going to be so much better to not have to click everything in the mesh names just to learn which thing assumed what name.
As for your tips page, I read the Poser to Bryce portion... I didn't see anything that specifically addressed the hair, unless it was the portion about transparency maps. I say that because I don't fully understand the transparency business; so that may be the crux of my problem. lol
I had previously found and loaded textures for my Poser figure (in Bryce). Afterwards, all the textures (except the non-dynamic hair) appeared the same as they did in Poser.
In your tips, you said, "If your figure has bump maps or transparency maps, you will need to load them into the second box, which holds the alpha channel. Just load the primary texture map..."
This brings me to a question: where in Poser do I see if there are bump maps or transparency maps? In the material palette? (I have seen image files referenced there...) Sorry for being so simple, but I've only been using Poser for about a month.
Well, I'll look the page over again when I'm a bit more fresh. (Looooooong day). Thank you so much for responding, and for the great tips on your site.
