It does nothing for me either, even wrapped around a shapely figure and a good pair of legs.
But then neither does a full latex suit, whereas many will find that the height of eroticism. (I wouldn't use the words kinky or perverse, since they are relative, subjective terms, meaning different things to each of us).
And what exactly are "American values"? The values held by Americans? Well, they surely encompass the widest extremes of morality and ethics seen anywhere else in the world!

PS - I understand the gimbal lock explanation, but I don't see how a mechanical problem like that relates to virtual axes as used in Poser. Second Life has no problems like this with prim rotation!

Thread: Y-rotate doesn't always work | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had this in P7 for Mac on a single sided plane I was using for a mirror. Having rotated it 90 degrees around the x-axis to stand it on end, I could no longer rotate it around the y-axis. The y-rotation dial did the same as the z-rotation dial, just as in your example.
Sorry, I didn't get to the bottom of the problem, but I need to bookmark this thread to see what others have to say about it.

Thread: Poser 7 Material Room Setting Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The simple answer is set the Transparency and Transparency_Edge dials to 1.0.
If you get weird shadow effects from the invisible material in your raytrace-enabled renders , it's because the transparency dials do not make the material transparent to raytracing.

Yes, the Victoria 4.2 Base (MAC) file seems to be missing from your download pack.
Sorry, seems like only DAZ can sort it out for you.
Good luck!

Are you sure you installed the right download file? It should be file ps_pe069_Victoria4 for V4 herself, and pe070 for Morphs++, if you have them. Sounds like it was the Victoria 4 Developer Kit you installed.

Thread: Can you HELP > Dr Geep solve a mystery in Poser 6??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sydney G2 (no clothes) - no problem with scaling her body.
Kate Casual - body scales correctly. Her conforming clothing (which loads already conformed to her) goes crazy.
Let me know if you want me to try anything else.. love your tutorials, and glad to help if I can!

My Poser 7 only has Sydney or Kate Casual. Are you interested in what happens to them, or is it just Jessi you have an issue with?

Good advice. I took an alternative approach, though, and installed V4.2 in a completely separate runtime.

Login to your DAZ account page (My Account), click on Itemized Order History, and reset your V4 items, then you can download them again (they will be V4.2 now). That should do it.

Very strange - I have saved morph settings for V4.1 and used them in V4.2 no problem.
Are you sure the Inj Morphs++ is doing its job, i.e. all the Morphs++ parameters are present and working? If so, then it must be your saved morph files. If you want, you can send me one by email and I will try it on my V4.2 - that might help to locate the problem. I can also compare the contents with one of mine. Send me a message if you like, and I will let you know my email address.

Hmm, two possible ways to skin the cat... thanks for your input.
The write up on Injection Pose Builder says it's for V3. I suppose it should work with V4.2, but I'm not paying $20 only to find out it won't.
I'll have a look around for that script that sneaks up on the cat from behind.

Thanks, Yvonne - I agree it is much easier just to stick them all in, especially if you need to experiment with the dials a lot (like I do) to find a combination that gives exactly what you are looking for. I use around a dozen morph dials just to get a decent looking smile! I've created my own V4.2+Morphs++ single click loader.
But someone else was asking if it is really necessary to always load those hundreds of morph dials. So I wondered if there was a way to determine what subset of them any particular character uses. Then they could build a custom morph++ injector just for that character. Not so easy, it seems!
And no, it wasn't/isn't just you - it seems to be quite a common problem for those who have moved from V4/V4.1 to V4.2.

After loading your V4.2 figure, look in your Poses folder for the folder called Morph Injections. In there you will find the action "Inj Morphs++ V4". Apply that to your figure, and all the Morphs will be available.
