Yes. Backwards compatible. You're safe. :-) It's those of us who can't buy P5 yet who are out of luck. :-( But P4 is still incredible. :-)
Thread: The Gustaph Texture | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nobody made any accusations, hmatienzo. Reasonable questions were asked, as the photos demonstrate. Who is Carola? You might have misunderstood something here. I'm anti-witch hunt, BTW.

Gustaph is by Homunculi, aka Sternenschein. Apparently he's in Germany. You have a sharp eye, sithgoblin. "Hmmmm..."
Thread: The (once) free daz computer...where does it install? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I believe the mouse and keyboard cords appear in Character/Articulate Props, and the rest of the set appears in Props/Miscellaneous. Good luck!

Hi SnowS, thanks for being such a good sport, and I've also read your response with respect. Best regards, Xoc
Thread: Another heads up | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Bishop IS NOT the person who made this texture. He's the person who was photographed for it, and who made it available here with the best of intentions. If the Zeta3D studios allegation is correct, Bishop wasn't aware. Again, he is not the texture artist. The man who is is dealing with this matter privately with Stefiana. He has been a very public advocate for her talent, and is a professional artist himself. If he did something wrong, he will certainly correct the issue immediately. I'm certain that malicious or lazy theft was not anyone's intention in this matter. SnowSultan's first paragraph is fine but the second one is inappropriate IMHO. Such comments should have been e-mailed or IM'd directly to Bishop. The last thing these forums need is another Steffy's-evil-no-she's-not mudfest. Neither is it this the place to criticize Bishop or his response to the accusation. He's innocent. Anyway, the heads-up part is good advice.
Thread: Mil-Dragon | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Folks, remember that if you're going to reduce your MilDragon texture maps, you should do the same to corresponding bump maps at the same ratio. For those like me who don't have ProPack, do this before converting the .jpg files to .bum files. This model has more individual bump maps than anything I've seen, in addition to being a large .cr2 to begin with. Reducing resolution by percentage in PSP is probably the easiest way to go. Those with Photoshop have a little more ease of control. Good luck ... if you reduce your map resolutions your problems will probably be solved.

Outstanding and original, BT! Thanks very much for your generosity. Oh boy, now who do I get to put into traction?...
Thread: Memory problems | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
IMO deleting rsr files should be done one at a time, as problems occur. A well-intentioned DAZ tech once recommended that you delete ALL of them from Geometries, claiming "you don't need them." I did that...disasterous results, and I had to reinstall the app. I'm not as technically astute on this issue as others, but from experience, think you should only do it with specific rsr files that cause this error. 320MB RAM is not insufficient memory. :-)
Thread: PBM dials? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
lemur01's question was a good one ... this wasn't an intuitively solved problem, and unfortunately DAZ provides scant (if any) documentation to help. Someone once told me that PBM stood for "pubic mound." LOL ... very wrong, but funny.

This is such a beautiful model! Thanks very much. Here in 'Frisco, we have a historic trolley line which runs several models of these old beauties. What can you tell us about the timeframe and place of your streetcar? It appears to be a car which originally ran in Milano, Italy, but I'm not an expert. Thanks again, and any historical info would also be much appreciated.

Thread: Another WIP... would anybody buy stuff like this? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Interesting question, because there's the psychological element of the models representing "trash," even though they're perfectly valid, useful, well-made models. (Plus, there's a shortage of not-new not-perfect not-clean things in Poser-land.) The idea of a themed bundle of objects is probably a smart move. The package would probably be more appealing that single trash-theme items, and you might make better profit that way. Your work is high quality and attractive. I'm sure you would sell your work in Marketplace if you chose to go that route. In the meantime, thanks for all the cool free things!
