looks like something that no one really "needs", but rather a useful tool to buy that can save a bit of time once you have finished purchasing everything else :) Wait a bit of time and it'll probably end up in Daz's PC for $1.99

It's ashame especially since it's looking more and more like Daz is removing themselves from the Poser community with D|S and starting up a distinctly seperate one. For the people that will be staying with Poser it would have been nice to have quality characters to use once Daz leaves.

I could give a rats @$$ what people like that think of Poser, it's buying me a condo and to me that's all that matters.

I couldn't get your membership to work, I entered all the info, then tried to log in and it wouldn't recognise any of the info. I'll try again next year.

Thanks for everyones help, there are some really beautiful texture sets that you all have suggested that will more than fit the bill. Now I just have to decide which of these fantastic sets to buy... anyone got a coin for me to flip? :)

my start time is doubled as well, other than that I haven't noticed any improvements or things going wrong yet... then again I haven't had a single problem with P5 since the first service pack was released.

My computer's the opposite for some reason... if I try to bring 3 V2 characters into Poser 4, they will start coming in with body parts missing but with Poser 5 I can bring in 8-10 V2 characters with no problems. Don't know why but I always had bugs with P4 but have only ever had 1 crash with P5 in the year and a half I've used it.

I'd agree with faveral, doesn't matter how detailed you make it or what it's probably really worth... only matters what people will pay for it and for Poser (with the rare exception) that's less than $20 for this type of thing.

Daz will definitely shoot themselves in the foot if they don't have at least a plug-in available when all is said and done that allows for a D|S to Poser export option. This would be a major pubic relations blunder that would fragment the community and devastate their standing in it.

Got it, played with it, liked parts of it but it's so slow compared to P5 that it's almost unusable to this point. That plus it did some really weird things to some of my characters means I think I'll wait for a few more updates before giving this Alpha version another go.
