Hope you are still working on Orion. You've not posted in a little while Ambient!

Thread: L'homme expression dials | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I did a pose and expressions set for L'Homme and I did get the expressions saved as dial spins so you can mix and match. Working with the chips was fun but for the life of me I can't remember how I got the expressions set up as dials so until I research how I did that the first time around I'm not doing any more expressions! Old brain... sux!

Will the hands and feet have Metatarsal for more fine and refined expression poses? I find those very useful when creating poses as I like allot of expression in my poses using the hands and feet!

You get the inner just right, bend to the side or outwards and a whole new set of poke through issues would crop up. It's a balancing act to say the least!AmbientShade posted at 9:49 PM Fri, 8 July 2022 - #4440941The groin area is even worse. The most difficult at all.Elbows and knees aren't too difficult. Hips, shoulders and wrists are a beast, especially shoulders.
I know. Shoulders are the devil.

Thread: Is there a video tutorial out there showing how to transfer a bone rig | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Thanks Charles. I really hope one of these days we can have a transfer utility (similar to the one DS uses) for transferring between figures. I'll take a look at the video. YUP, this is a vid I've seen. I guess it makes more sense to me now as I've been tooling around for the past couple of years with Poser so it's informative and hopefully I've gained some confidence in getting this over to LH. The concern though is that the end result is that the cloth is now NEW so wondering does this path copy the morphs over to the newly minted cloth and if not is there a quick way to copy them over to the new clothing item?
Thanks again!
Richard

Yea, I agree. Allot more robust but I'll have to wait for this Eevee Preview option before diving back in!

I'm assuming that the PrincipledBsdf node is only in Poser 12 unless I've overlooked where it is in the add node fly out menus in Poser 11.
Also one of the very off putting issues with Cycles, for me, is there is no instant preview so you have do allot of test renders to correct settings. Again, unless I'm missing something and I very well could be. I do have Poser 12 but the no instant preview confounds me and annoys me.

The leg bend is amazing. The knee geom stays in place as the knee is bent. Usually that area's poly's gets stretched out. WOW! NICE!

You would be the person I'd purchase a course for rigging and weight mapping from, in a heart beat, esp if you are doing this solely in Poser!

Not only fantastic but gorgeous. WOW, that's super smooth. The elbow keeps it shape. SO many do not so morphs have to be added to get that back. Your very thoughtful in how your doing all this work. Truly good works. I'm assuming it's test of patience at times! I know the few times I've weight mapped from start to finish I know my nerves were a bit shot! LOL

Yea but Apollo had an actual hole that had to be covered with a geometry shield of sorts that I think Anton addressed. This figure is fully closed according the author above so I don't think dynamics should be much of an issue

WOW, so cool!RAMWorks posted at 7:13 PM Fri, 24 June 2022 - #4440331
I think L'Homme's was adapted from one of the older Poser males. He looks very good. I like the way the penis looks, very natural. The L'Homme one is kinda ugly I had to do some morph magic to it to make it look "right" to me! LOL
I tried to put as much realism into Orion's as possible. There's a total of 8 bones in the whole kit and plenty of geometry to do whatever you want with it. And if you don't want it at all, just leave it in its "off" state. There's really no reason for them to still be snap-ons.
And yes, for anyone wondering, Venus will get the same treatment with her lady bits.
