Thread: DAZ studio for MAC is OSX only............. its official and NO WIN 95 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yup, it's out with the developer network... and you can get your very own copy at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/default.mspx it's release candidate 2; one of the benifits of early software like this is, well, it's free; always a good thing. plus, while it will have security holes, no one will know about them for a while. It's not quite as stable as win2k, but it does have the 64-bit threading and hyperthreading, I believe. Of course none of these OS's compare with OS/2.

Ahem.
I wasn't going to say anything, but I just can't help myself....
Win98SE and Win2K were the last incarnations of Microsoft being worried about competition.
WinME and WinXP are both just Pretty, dumbed down interfaces of the 2 operating systems; In respect to Win2K vs WinXP, Win2k is more stable, has a lower official failure rate, and runs the same applications faster.
WinXP also has a lot of security flaws built in that just shouldn't be there, since they almost had to be by design.
Most pro organizations that require security and stability are completely ignoring XP, waiting for Windows 2003 (which, by the way, is pretty nice).

One thing on Pboost; it apparently doesn't ALWAYS allow "live" (with poser running) switching of bank in win2k, and possibly XP. It's a known bug, keeps me from getting it. Poserloader is fantastic, and free; for some reason it stopped working for me except to load props (?????), but before that I wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world; even has built in "mover" function.

I've got a question... You folks have released some really, really terrific stuff in the past; the spaceship sets come to mind... What did you make it for?

You should try Google. It's one of a class of "drive-by" activeX controls; it pops up on your screen while browsing, asking to be installed. If you do install it, it completely Hijacks your IE browser, taking over your homepage, search and several other features. It's also EXTREMELY difficult to delete. It's not a Virus. It's almost worse.Thread: Helping a fellow Renderosity artist. (Please Read) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Perhaps it would have been better to just warn about scams, instead of going off on cerpher? Unless you are a moderator, of course. I've always been of the opinion that people should be allowed to make mistakes if they are determined.

Um, might be a good idea to mention those 'shrooms are a DEADLY POISON if you get the dosage a little off.
Thread: Freebie alert - tuesday? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Not the Lite Freebie (which is also in free stuff). The full version can rotate...well, I guess this one can rotate also, but the lights would rotate as well.
Thread: a not-so-newbie question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
