yeah,.. Im waiting to by the last vol of S1 DVD's and I've been stuck @ ep 20 or so of 2nd GiG the second season the Particularist 11 is a pretty interesting story line but sure yeah I'd be interested in those textures especially because of the push up able sleeves umm you could send it too Amancue@gmail.com or just im me and we'll set something up,.. I found royloo's old Cyberdoll Outfit of Kusanagi the purple and black thing,.. but its integrated with the p4 girl,,.. its not just a clothing object,.. now I remember why I keep forgetting about it

I dont know if anyones going to read this,.. I just found the thread when trying to hunt down something else I could have sworn existed from a few years ago,.. I was pretty certain there was a Bonaparte model from Dominion Floating around and as for the shirow weapons I've made many searches and forays into finding I found a bunch that were never poserized or even textured they were in milkshape,.. cause I was looking at doing a Galhound scene and he uses some different seburo guns in there I have everything listed in most books only ones I cant find or dont think anyone modeled are the MW-0206 but its very similar to the Firesplash so Im going to modify that when I get off my ass and use that for that one and the Rifle behind kusanagi's back in this picture which leads me to my other thoughts sorry long nite drank a lot sobering,..the coat seemed to be the hardest part to come up with I've been staring at my Shirow lithograph for years wanting to do that scene in 3d so grospolina (King of Swords) love Silent mobius btw,.. if you got anyfurther with that costume or anything you want to discuss bout shirow or anyone else for that matter :) sorry its such a ramble but you know how it is,..

thanks for the INFO SVDL I have the 30 day trial of max from the website still havnt installed it,..might try messing with the props in there I have a book on max I borrowed from a friend see if I can make heads or tales of it there,.. Im only sore at CC because it was 40 Dollars that hasnt been useful yet

Toolmakersteve I dont mean to come of sounding like an Ass but I have done that,.. to the nTH degree went thru many tutorials went thru a lot on the forums,..at the current stage it just didnt seem feasible or resource able to do it the way I envisioned it,... I might not have described in the most clear way,.. I get on rants at times.... BUT thank you for taking the time to reply :) I appreicate it Blarghd

yeah it does (the outside of C:) I have an old p4 runtime on C: p5 on F: (system is there too) along with p5's base Runtime then the Runtime I screw with as F:runtime2 but anyways hope that helps

yeah,.. I went thru this little dilema myself,.. I tried to make a "Good" Chainmail outfit for a character,.. what I mean by good is one that came out rendered looking the way I wanted to I checked out all the ones found for free and in various marketplaces and after investigation everyones looks a bit like chainmail if really far away or usually just like scalemail,.. not one gave the effect I was really looking for so the project has been shelved for the past few month,.. after a great amount of time making textures for it,.. and having better artists then I help me make them I still wasnt happy,.. only way I found close was too heavy and that was model the chainmail it self no just a piece with holes and a tex map of the appropriate metal but that many rings well the artists which I appreicate thier efforts declined to work on as the one sample piece they made me which might have been a small percentage of the whole was already a huge obj anyways Im rambling,.. if your looking for plate or scale types theres plenty out there to get ideas and it'll go alot smoother,.. and also if anyones brave or has any ideas on chain reply I could finally finish this idea

anyone know any good references for lighting.. epecially indirect lighting and faking radosity as was suggested,.. I've read a little abotu the theory of light in vue from varians site so any other suggestions would be good,.. that picture by Mixed nut is a rough Idea of what I want to do,.. though its a much closer up scene,.. well any hints or ideas where to start would be great Blarghd

thanks,... I figured that out,.. Only thing Im have trouble with right now is this chainmail texture it either comes out distorted or circular on the mesh its on where it just evenly tiles in P5

so whith the props your saying move them to the P5 Runtime I keep everything in my p5 and a separate runtime of my own,.. but when I imported something into vue earlier,.. a few props didnt import,.. and it changed a few of my textures,.. blarghd

no it wasnt a figure that didnt have the appropriate parts,.. It was V3 with the Shirley Morphs injected then loaded into Tailor then loaded the holster,.. BVH's SWAT pack,.. and it's way to large and no way to adjust,.. it maybe you didnt have problem finding it,.. but I did,.. so telling me the name for those morphs,.. and someone else mentioned,..I only saw the FBM's and not the individual morph anyways Blarghd

well thats a Great Idea in theory tasquah but not all the files are "Good",... but reply wasnt to put down some morphs it was just to say thanks,.. and sam as taquah was saying good ones make it easy but not all the files you download have anymore then a cr2 and a rsr (NO docs) so you cant always RTFM :P hence why places like this are around :P anyways thanks for all the responses
