That's wonderful news. But I wonder when this capability will be added to Blender Beta 2.55.
I've always thought utilizing blender and poser's combined capabilities would be a very efficient workflow.

I'm impressed with Blender's Beta 2.53 release so far. I hope Blender still has compositing features in every future release. I use Blender for effects animation in my 2D animation projects too. Though I want to create original cel-shaded characters in Blender too.

I regret buying Anime Studio version 5. I guess I was suckered by the prospect of making cartoons with relative ease and efficiency too bad Anime Studio version 5 was frustrating and far from easy to use. I stuck with Toonboom Studio 4 instead.
Worst impulse buy I've ever made. I'm not saying Anime Studio is bad it's just not for me!

I wish I had gotten Poser Pro instead but I guess I was all caught up in the excitement of Poser 8 without knowing everything about it. I was became familiar with Poser because I used a Poser 7 demo.
I mostly use Poser to help assist me in figure drawing.
I guess the only course of action would be to buy those human artist mannequins from Blick Art Store and use them as a basis for creating generic human figures I can modify at will.
I appreciate your insight PhilC. For now on when I purchase software I'll be sure to ask longtime users that way I'll know what to expect.
