Thanks Sam, but that is pretty much what I did, except that I posed the figure before and after loading the prop.
BTW, I also get a deformity if I follow this sequence:
This was also explained in the earlier thread, but when I execute step 5, both hand-2 and forearm-2 are deformed.

nruddock... thanks for the link. As it contains Wyrmmaster's own instructions on how to use IPB to save the mag settings as morphs, I think this is just what I need.
caulbox... I added the FBM using the P5 option after creating the mag morphs with the Ockham script. I've used Tailor to create new morphs for clothing, but not for other figures. It seems this may be an option as well. Thanks.

Thanks... I appreciate the quick reply. However, I'm still pretty new at this, and the materials room usually leaves me gasping. Could you be a bit more specific? For the hair prop, there is the usual array of surface values, one of which is "displacement". It does not have a dial, so I assume I would attach a node here, but I'm not sure which one to use. Alternatively, there is also an existing texture file node, but nothing in its options refers to displacement. Mike
Thread: Worldz V2 -- Can't see what I'm doing. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes... that could be it, as I can see the "dotted" outline that signifies transparent objects. However, regardless if I set transparency to 0 or 1 in the materials room (for say, the mountains) I only see the dots. Is there another way I can make the objects visible in P5 while authoring? Mike
