I've received an instant message from stefyzz that I found rather odd...in it she accused bobbie of being a thief..and told me I should get a refund for the purchase I made...yet, I never made any purchases.

Since the staff at rosity have seen fit to remove bobbie's gallery postings at the word of stefyzz alone...no proof at all of her allegations...though I've seen proof to the contrary...it leads me to the inevitable conclusion that some coercion was used in the possible form of "take them down or I'll pull my products out of your store".

This isn't the first time this individual has casts suspicion and doubt on other members (see the Blackhearted case) and this seems to be some sort of habitual thing.

When are the rest of the members of this place going to realize that a boycott of all of stefyzz's products is what it's going to take to show them that kind of behavior isn't going to be tolerated?

I would not only expect a formal and public apology from stefyzz for the irreputable damage she's done to another member's otherwise untarnished reputation...not to mention their site being shut down on the mere mention of a suspicion...I would also think a public and formal apology from whatever rosity staff was involved with the removal of bobbie's pics from the gallery is ALSO in order.

I don't hack the chat....I know a few people who have found a way to issue action commands that don't show their name prior to the action...but they haven't shared their "trick" with others. What showed in the chatlog I posted is exactly what appeared on my screen. It doesn't show the "loaning my CD to a friend" because I don't whisper illegal activity to people. I could have edited the chat to omit the adult parts out of it but then that would be doing what otsego did...only pasting the parts she wanted others to see. What was clear in the chat was that I wasn't the only one annoyed by flooding of chat (and that is a definite attempt to disrupt service, a clear violation of the TOS) since anyone who's ever been a frequenter of the chatroom knows that such things can cause it to lockup. Although it resets every hour, it doesn't always recover from a flood instigated lockup and requires a manual reset by one of the staff (something Rcook used to have to do alot..and the reason he's banned many members for flooding it). Once again, I make no secret that I insulted otsego...but even though it was provoked, if there's any repercussions to be persued, a warning letter is what the TOS would call for. Attempting to disrupt chat, and participating in the practice of warez, and failure to report known activity of such warez, is a violation of the zero tolerance and involved MORE than a letter of warning. That is what I and others have read Otsego to be in the act of doing in the locked thread below this one.

Maybe I'm not reading this all correctly.... But it looks to me that this wife of liftan seems to be in support of Bin Laden. (this is an opinion, not an attack) "...this is sad for my country..." What country might THAT be? You wouldn't be calling yourself an American now would ya? Bush has his faults...granted...but he doesn't act alone. You failed to mention the reason Bush is against the proposal of a tribunal. The enemies of the U.S. would seize the opportunity to wrongfully imprison anyone who wears a U.S. armed forces uniform and gloat to the ones who are so full of religious fanaticism that they abandon their own self trumplet blowing hypocrisies of anti-murder while slaughtering anyone who doesn't believe in their way of thinking. It must be nice to be able to live with one's own conscience when taking the stance of "You must believe in my religion that says no killing or I must kill you....you infidel swine".

Hey, russ... I was there when it happened..and he did violate the TOS by telling the ppl in the chatroom exactly where he got the illegal copy at. just trying to clear things up...tammyc didn't redefine the TOS but merely enforced it...kudos

Thanks for the replies...I knew it was a con from the getgo. First tip off...was use of the term "solicitor at law" as opposed to "attorney at law". Am I to believe that solicitors now have to have a batchelor's degree in lawschool? Aside from improper grammar (Shell Corporation should be capitalized)...there's something unusual about the death occuring in 1998...and now there is only ten days left before the money gets confiscated (by whom?). Certainly, it didn't take five years to track down someone with the name of Driver on the internet.

absolutely right, Jeff, my bad...was fractal designs...they also had the rights to Painter and the Tif format painter uses was specificaly utilized in Poser 1.

I have used Poser since before it was called Poser....I still have the original version called Mannequin by Humancad....before Metacreations bought it and released Poser 1.0 (which I also have, along with version 2, version 3, and version 4 with patches). Mannequin only supported 16 colors...had no 3d export...and could only import DXF models.

I have a couple of theories on "morpheus" type programs (only theories because I don't use any of them theft condoning type programs). I would venture to say that the folks who download commercial stuff using "moopheus" don't care if they get a virus...it aint like they're gonna lose alot of hard work if their files get trashed by a trojan...they didn't pay for any of it anyhow. What I find rather humorous...is that ppl actually write on this site (which forbids the activity of "moopheus") that they "saw such and such" on "moopheus", thus alerting to everyone (including admins) that they have no conscience that prevents them from undertaking illegal activity. If ppl are sharing viruses with each other on "moopheus", then I say "good...maybe the little thieves will get what's coming to them" and "moopheus" can die a slow death.

sounds to me like someone made some poser addons that looks at a different drive letter....or.....you installed poser from your cdrom drive when it was drive letter E but now the letter has changed....either from a reload of windows...or adding more harddisk letters (thus forcing cdrom to move to a higher letter).

We live in a house now instead of an apartment...and we have a cat instead of a dog. The cat is really smart...she rolls around in dirt....and the fleas don't get on her (go figure). We've had (still have) the cat for about three years and have never found a flea on her. The cat's only fault is she is a "talker" and loves to "talk" alot.

I'm glad the kitten is doing all right...I, too have a story to tell. We had a toy poodle given to us as a pup and it lived with us for fifteen years. At the age of thirteen, the poodle (named Cinnamon, incidently) developed an oversized heart and cateracts on her eyes. One day, she lost all her sight...but a couple of days later, she somehow gained it back. Once, my mother had to go out of town and I had to take care of the dog alone. I bathed it every other night...but still...it got some fleas from when I took it outside. The fleas had built a nest and laid eggs on her head...no amount of bathing I gave her would get rid of them...even used flea shampoo that is supposed to do the trick. She got very weak from the blood loss of having them flea sacks sucking her blood from her. I worked during the day so I could only give her the care and attention she needed when I got home late at night. Finally, when Sunday came...and I didn't have to work...I took her to the vet. They gave her a blood transfusion and cleaned her up really good. I spent about three hundred dollars then. About a year later...she began to cough alot...and I took her back to the vet...spent a few more hundred on lasix shot and medication. The dog survived for about a year longer. Finally, she got so bad...we had no choice but have her put to sleep. My mother was so attatched to the dog...we spent the extra money needed to have her cremated alone instead of in a group of other dogs...and my mother has her ashes in a tiny sealed cedar chest...and wants that chest to be buried with her when her time comes.
