diana : Well I am not sure, but I believe the process at Bbay is fairly expediant, as I seen messages from people who already have it and working with it, and the store front has been up barely a day. There are good things about it being on BBay, pricing being one of those. The artist/seller ratio at Bbay is better, allowing it to be lower in price. I am sorry it seems like a hassle to you where its sale is hosted. I wish I could help. =

Nesterenko: Unfortunately for a character this complex, I wouldn't have been able to do it if I were to give it away for free. The time taken to produce this would have had to be spent doing something else that would make money. Am not independantly wealthy. =( It took quite a bit of work to produce, and the price is fairly low I think for what it includes... fully articulated character with expressions, texture and bump, branches prop ect. Those renders came right out of Poser with no touchup. ML

Darth: hmm well if you don't mind some comments. These are based on some of the pictures posted above. Her cheeks are very full, and even not smiling they would be. As is her brow above the eye and to the sides. need to widen and round those areas more. Also she had next to no eyelid due to the heavy roundness of her brow. The crease between the nose and mouth would be noticable smiling or not because of the cheeks. I think the chin is bit too far back and a bit too small. I think the upper lip is a bit too thick. Actually the eye on yours need to move up. the distance from the tip of the nose to the corner of the eye is greater than you have. and the eyebrows need to move closer to the eye. I think that will get you closer.

More branches will be a prop for the future. Most depictions of Treants don't have many branches. They aren't trees so much as creatures that mimic them. But I can see the need for branches so I have them in mind =) I wonder how tall I need to make it before you stop calling it a tater ;)

=) I was thinking about that actually. The asymetry. I was thinking last night about morph targets for the branches that would do that, and some verticle flutes on the trunk the same way. I put in a more dense section beneath the mouth and above the root-feet that I hope I can make scale for height. I figure some people may want short and fat or others tall, so i want to try and make it able to be both. More branches = well at first he had a more full head, but it just was too dense. I cut it down to the two. Perhaps I can make a prop, like hair =) but extra branches. Same with the leaves, maybe some fruit, and mushrooms on the side... ect.

I hope to have him for sale soon. I was hoping to get it done in time for halloween, but was not meant to be. I had to go back several times and put mesh in, and correct things. I am grouping it up currently. It looks kinda cartoony now, and short ;) ... but I put in midsection I will make scaleable for more height ( hopefully), and more sinister appearance morphs, like clawed bony fingers, a more fluted and detailed body, and wrinkles ect.. It seemed easier to model the "blank canvas" and then morph in the otherstuff. Its about 16k faces ML

Thread: Question: Figure to a prop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I suppose I am jsut being picky. I did make a "cap" to put in place of the static piece using "replace with prop" then I load my new figure and change its parent to match, and that works and moves with the body but... I just hate the little black line at the edge when it renders..
Thread: Question: Figure to a prop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Problem is I want it to still be poseable = See I exported the solid unposeable limb as an obj, remodelled it with more edges where it had too few to do what I wanted, grouped it into poseable pieces, built the hierarchy, took it into Poser and set the joints up so it bends correctly.. and now I am stuck. I can't put it back in place of the static piece. =
