Poke-through with morphed figures is something that's been an issue since the early days of Poser. How were they surprised by it?

Indeed; it is a HUGE aggravation, and is a major reason I've been using DAZ Studio as of late, in spite of its cumbersome shader system...

The picture I posted above I took in The Dalles, Oregon last summer. It is a Sears Silvertone wire recorder from around 1948. Wire recorders were the predecessor to tape recorders...

I'm waiting; I was pretty happy with PP Game Dev, and regretted purchasing Poser 11 early because the new features turned out to be not worth the additional cost to me. Of course, PP Game Dev is now dead, but in compensation, I now have two licenses to a program I don't use...

It's been a while, but number of threads should be equal to the number of CPU threads and check the Separate Process box...

Years ago Cage said that he thought it possible in PP2012, but as far as I recall he never pursued it. It does work via the DSON Importer..

Have you tried switching off this option in Prefs? It's very possible it already has all the morphs included and it doesn't need the external PMD file anymore.

This only affects saving files. Poser will read files with external morphs regardless of this setting.

As far as updates, I had Poser Pro 2014, not Poser 10, but I seem to recall that they used the same installer, but might be mistaken. The PP2014 SR is available here:

Yeah Terai Yuki 2 dates back to 2005. SM took Poser over some time between Dec 2006 (Poser 7 release by EFrontier) and May 2008 (Poser Pro release by SM)

Thinking about it, if you enter your PP 2014 serial into Game Dev, it should become PP 2014 and you will not have to reinstall; that's what I did when it switched over to Bondware (although I had already paid for PP11! ) Under Help>Personalize...

Poser Pro 2014 can be reloaded as it does not do online activation; just enter your serial number. Be sure to install the latest service release after installing it...

PP Game Dev will not work, unfortunately, although its serial will give you a free upgrade to PP 11...

I bought my first copy of Poser on eBay years ago, an unopened shrinkwrapped copy of Poser 7.

It is legal to sell software licenses in the EU. In the US it's a currently matter of civil law depending on the EULA terms.

I think I actually have the first version. It seems like it is from 2011. I bought it on Ebay, it is a version that actually comes with both Mac OS x and Universal which was quite unusual even back then. As I used the old versions of Poser namely 4 to easily play with different perspectives I wanted an application that could get me back on track easily.

There was an update in 2015. Sadly, I only have the Windows version downloaded. Perhaps someone with the Mac version could arrange to make it available to Bondware?

Your Poser Debut serial will get you the upgrade price to 11 Pro, which would be the best solution in the long run...
