For an empty scene, delete the default figure then click the Set Preferred State button to set the default scene. I have just a sky dome and my own lights in my preferred scene.

I thought so but didn't know about the other options.. Kinda learned my lesson and started putting my content in MyDocuments after I got P7. My older Vista machine had Poser 4 on it and I had to go hunting for all the files I had saved in the program.
Thread: Installing content | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I install to Daz Studio and add the external runtime to the Poser 7 library. I would advise against installing multiples of the same files as it usually causes conflicts. Especially with the base Gen 4 Figures.

UAC is overly protective and Poser needs access to its files and overwrite them. I had problems with Poser 7 and things acting all wonky until I followed Laurie's advice to get Poser out of Program files and have actually found features that were inacessible before finally working.
Also I had most of my "Content" installed to MyDocuments/PoserContent rather in the main Runtime. I believe Poser 8 already puts the content files in MyDocuments... Right?

Ok... First thing is to get Poser out of that program folder. Win 7 doesn't like things that mess with the Program files, incuding the owner. Reinstall Poser to your C:/ drive so it installed to C:/Poser8.

I had this same problem after I installed Carrara and forund that it installed a second Victoria 4 cr2 to my system. What happens is the newer V4 cr2 gets updated and points to the injection files. There can only be one instance of a Victoria 4.cr2 on a system more than that mess up the morphs.

Here's a example of Robin is saying about adding background images..
I have seemed to notice a lot of people struggling with Blender and the ones who love working with it usually say something just "clicked" one day. Im sooo close to that point I can almost feel it. I never spent a whole lot of time with 2.49 but am really liking 2.58.
Thread: Proper Folder Format to Add New Prop (Self Made) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The Object must be saved with the textures applied. This will save the object and a material file which contains the locations to the textures.
Or
You can save the object to your Prop library after appling the textures and it will be just one click to load. One thing is the object will be embeded in the pp2 file along with the texture locations.

Hence the major flaw in "texting" and forum communication.... I don't know how many times I have cried over a text or post because I had taken it the wrong way. This is the main reason I hate these forms of communication in general. That is a big reason I've been a member here for 9 years and haven't had too much to post.
I prefer talking.. there is less of a chance of mistaking a persons intent. Between body language or voice inflection, you pretty much know were a person stands and their meaning.
I for one have noticed a pettyness that seems to have infiltrated into this and other forums lately. I'm not mentioning names but reading posts from people who were once amusing and witty, have turned sour and abusive, has really put a damper on my spirits.
Rendo is always where I head as soon as I turn on my machine. I really loved the way everyone was ready to help or to cheer up someones day, but those days seemed to have passed. That is too sad to comprehend.:crying:
Ps: Those words are not directed to BB, as I have been following the posts he was refering to and I believe he was in the right.
Thread: Creating dials for Props/Figures etc | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It really depends on what parts of the prop or figure is morphed. The first is by spawning a morph on a single body part or prop. That is located in Objects > Spawn morph target in your top tool bar. The second is if you have the full figure morphed, that is listed in Figures > Create full body morph.
After choosing one, it will ask you to name the morph and the dial will then show up in your Parameters. Zero all the morphs and dial your new morph in. You must then save the new character to your library. This way the character will load with the morph already applied.
You can also save the dialed character as a pose without spawning a morph. Just add the character with the dials spun to your pose library. The main drawback is that the pose must be applied every time you load the figure.
One last thing is the cr2 version is not redistributable with out major editing, but the pose file is because it calls up the deltas and the cr2 includes them.
Hope that helps
Thread: Newbie Needs HELP Please! Clothes don't "conform to"... | Forum: Poser Technical
Honestly that looks like the P4 Female catsuit too.
In order for conforming to work the clothes MUST match the figure. P4 clothing will only conform to P4 figures. Each generation of Poser and DAZ figure have different bone setups. So the clothing from an earlier generation won't conform to a newer generation figure and visa versa.
Thread: New to Daz/Poser what is difference between Aiko3 n Aiko4????? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Conforming the clothing won't work without major tweeking and editing because, the joints for the two figures are completely different. Things like bikinis or skirts may work without a lot of work, but clothing that have sleeves and legs are going to be a real pain to fix without the use of other software.

There was a guy on the DAZ forum who made one and was going to upload it to ShareCG... That one was supposedly dial spun. But he didn't say which injection morph packages he used. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible.
