We do have a book with forms (2 complex) but I was thinking about doing it online instead. It's not software/pc related but a uni wheel vehicle. But we were going to get a lawyer to write the legal jargon.

Yes... but I could really use some help with my newest post topic (above)... texture model.

"...she IS a Michael morph after all" I bet they took a page out of the bible (Adam & Eve).

Thanks. I was more concerned with how a single image lines up prefectly on the model (such as a face) no matter how large the painted texture is. For example, if you have a small picture, it will fit on the screen... but if it's too large, you can only see a part of it on the screen (oversize). However, you can load a 150x150 or a 1500x1500 texture and it fits perfectly on the model? I guess poser automatically adjusts texture alignment according to the size of the map.

"...and they still get a wide variety of machines and problems" We have a Athlon 64 3200+ (and a 3400+ 2.2GHz enroute http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80704-R ) ... so bring it ON!Thread: DAZ|Studio Beta | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Yes, they should have notified the public regarding any delays... especially since they came out Nov 19 03 to state that they were SURE it would be available last year Dec. I was sent an email stating that D|S was ready and given an opp to join the Plat club - but it was never said that I had to join Plat to get D|S - unless you read between the lines. Also they shed great importance on the NEED to get D|S ready as SOON as possible by many of us testing it as soon as possible. It would appear to me... that a public release would be the best option to get a masses test it ~ but hey, what do I know?

I guess we can agree that there will never be a December release. Maybe January - something to ring the New Year off with... perhaps.
Thread: Do you use quicktime with Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I ran a check on all the commercial DVDs I have and the program produced a text file which identified all the DVDs of having AC3 audio. So basically, apple's $20 mpeg2 playback component is USELESS!
Thread: Do you use quicktime with Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, we have the latest player 6.3 but there's no sound. We're not sure what audio it uses... is there a way to check? We tried vob from video tapes (created using nero express) We checked our PC which uses Avance Logic's AC97 mixer audio system. But I doubt if you played a movie trailer (vob), the PC would convert it from the original format to AC97 format. Nor do we believe all vobs are using AC3.

Yes, we have been having problems... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If it was a problem with the browser, I'd suspect it won't work at all. Since the 99 cent sale... could they be a victim of their own success?
Thread: XP limitations | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, some programs will work.... Ulead media studio pro, Premiere to name a few. It's a shame the AVI has to be sooo large and converting takes time. But file/size ratio... mpeg2 is best.
Thread: XP limitations | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
We kept the 12GB file and tested on a 512MB system and everything worked fine. It converted to 2.6GB mpeg. I don't think the memory was bad because Poser used up as much as 1022MB of RAM (out of 1024) for firefly. However, with p4 render, 512MB is suffice and it's about 500% faster. We now feel the problem was some programs can't handle 1GB memory... as Poser did in the days of old.
Thread: XP limitations | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks - we just finished the project. By the way, Roxio just informed us today that their software can handle video files >12GB therefore the problem lies elsewhere.

NTFS - which we believe is still a 32bit system. Yes, VideoWave5 is able to capture >12GB video files and it's able to convert it to mpeg. It does so in batches (seperate files)... we discovered unfinished 1.2GB file. However, the problem lies in the conversion process where it may falter somewhere along the line. Sometimes it may run for 30min or 2mins before it crashes. This was done with minimal processes running... no firewall, AV, etc. We tried several AVI file splitters but none could read the 12GB file. So we redid the scene to 7GB (33Mins). It crashed in the conversion process at 92% complete! Perhaps it was just too much for the software to handle. But windows didn't state it was a software problem... it said it might be a hardware or driver problem (blue screen of death).
