Thanks Dizzi - that's much better.
...gotta check those menu items once in while - maybe I'll learn something.

Thank you lam2. I never noticed that cross target. Displayed for a brief moment is right and it doesn't move as you adjust the focus distance so it's very difficult to set the precise focus point, specially when that point is not directlly under the center or under the cross hairs.
It's better than nothing though...perhaps P7 will have an improvement on this?
Again, thanks for your help.

First Bryce with multi-core and HDRI support and now Poser 7. It just doesn't get any better than this...or maybe it will, there's 3 more reasons to go...
Dunno 'bout anyone else but I'm psyched and ready for it...
Oh, and those who "...don't render in Poser..." will no longer have a reason not to use Poser to render.

Check these out - these are one of the very first things I purchased for Poser - God knows how many years ago - Thet're made for the Poser 4 woman but with a little bit of rescaling they can be used on any figure....or if you do a search for helmet, here on Rendo or at RDNA, I'm sure you'll find something for free that's suitable...

...which brings up the question of what is the purpose of the directors view? Why is the 'director' opposite the camera, looking right at it? You'd think that the 'director' would like to see what the camera sees or am I missing something?
Also, why is the default camera view at a 45 degree angle looking from the South-East (lower right) to the North-West (upper left)? This makes it difficult (for me) to numericaly position my objects in the scene.
Before I start a new scene, the first thing I do is move the main camera to the bottom of the scene, looking North, centered on the x-axis. This makes it easy for me to move and reposition object left/right on the x-axis and forward/back on the z-axis as diolma pointed out...

Thanks for the reply...
Unless there's some contractual limitation, and not to take anything away from RawArt's store, perhaps he could offer 'Le Village' components in more 'visible' stores such as DAZ, here at Rendo, PoserPros or even e-frontier's Content Paradise (...again, my apologies to RawArt's very fine store, I do not mean to belittle it in any way).
Raising prices for models of that quality would also not be out of line. $15 - $18 is quite reasonable I think, especially if there is an 'intro' sale. His cheapest models at DAZ are $20, $12 at PoserPros (not counting a couple of $7 accessory packs) and similar prices here at Rendo. I thought that charging $10 (Canadian dollars at that) for 'Le Village' models was more than reasonably cheap - almost insanely cheap.

The Medieval Tavern has been done for a couple of weeks now (...got it, it's awesome) and I'm also wondering when (if?) he'll continue with the Le Village project...
Thread: Denim Mini Set for V3 - Thumbnails (.rsr files) missing/mixed up... | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Follow-up to my post above...
When I purchase a new product, I install it into a temporary directory to check it out using P3DO Explorer and P3DO showed what I described above.
This profuct does not have .png files. When I loaded it into Poser 6, the .png files are constructed by Poser 6 (and Poser 5?) and they appear to be correct, so this issue has become a non-issue for me.
It still may be an issue for Poser 4 and Poser Artist users though...
