ok now thats clever. I will see if i can do thatNote that if you save your image to PNG format, it might make the background invisible. If that happens and you don't know how to change that, come back.

i tried the single spot light behind the head but its not showing enough light behind. this is for a shadow council thing in a comic book so i want the shape of the persons head but no features showing.

you might as well remove the thread as without the reference pictures posted just to show the lighting effects the thread isn.t much use. From this point forward I will only be using the site to buy from the vendors as I'm sick of getting moaned at and threats when I post my work.

@y-phil thanks, now I have to do a big fight scene with a minotaur and a dragon, looking forward to the finished page but doing it will be a pain. still now it will look good.
if anyone wants to read my comic it's free on comic fury called Blunderland (only the last five or so chapter are poser)

im using poser 11 pro. and i like to use firefly
this arena is at the bottom of a huge temple so no natural light is needed just light from flames. I'm not using a skydome, because most of the arena covers the back from floor level and making the background black blends with my comic pages as i always use black gutters on the page.

not much point now as i only will be using him for another three chapters and he is mostly clothed. I was just agreeing to the point that more children models are needed in poser and have a use in stories and art.

as you can see my comic side kick is a scaled down m4, the one thing i don't like about it is his hairy chest as he's meant to be 10. yes keeping poser alive means we need diversity ( sorry if this picture breaks rules but i wanted to show my point)
Thread: Dwarvez rendering problem. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
well with the help of you guys and working a few things out i came up with a solution im happy to say (as this has been annoying me) I will put my solution here for people who might have the same problem at some point.
1. uncheck reflection lite mult
2. lower deffuse value to .85
3 delete all nodes leaving only Image map and image map 2
Image map connects to Diffuse col and spec col.
Image map 2 connects to bump and Displacement.
this needs to be done on every part of each clothing item.
huge Thanks to you guys for the advice.

I have no clue how to edit files that way @TwiztidKidd. I know roughly how to use templates to make new textures with my are program, but ive never coded them.

I did that and....back to square one!Cool, once you finished installing it, apply the selected P9SSS material to your character. Start fresh, especially the clothes + boots :)
Happy Sunday.
