Capn, Couple of things. As a Mac user, you do not need the rsr files. They're a Windows-only necessity. Delete them. Mac's can produce thumbnails by reproducing the figure in the workspace. If you're not doing it already, you MUST convert downloaded cr2 files to the Mac format with MacConverter. As otaku says, it's available in the "Freestuff" section and it's an easy, drag-and-drop utility. You'll know the cr2 files that you need to convert by their icons: they're "text file" icons. Only cr2's that have Poser icons will show up in your library once there loaded into Runtime/libraries/characters; and MacConverter will change those text icons to Poser icons. (Actually it changes "type" and "creator" codes, but the icon switch let's you know that it's been done.) Good luck...

Simply great. Thanks. The texture will be a welcome change from the endless glut of P4 female additives.

Or the easy short-cut: put an alias of MacConverter on your desktop and drag and drop to your Mac's content.

Additionally: MacConverter does not convert Bryce "file type" and "creator code" for Mac compatability. You'll have to do that by hand.

Check out this site: http://www.noxgeo.com/ww3d/index.html It's exactly what you're looking for, except the uniforms, weapons, etc. are all World War II related. It's a start, though.

Liz, Sell away! You obviously have the right to market anything and everything you wish. My feeling is that there may be an initial dearth of postings in "free stuff" as artists look at their work, think it may be worth sticking a price on, and try to make a few dollars. The good news is that an artist can make as much money as the market will bear. Free enterprise includes free choice. If one feels that something is worth handing over a few bucks for, one will do so. If not, not. Once artist and consumer get a feel for what's worth buying or selling, the market will find its level, and "free stuff" postings will probably return to normal. Good luck!

Chrisa, Quit whining. You have a forum (Renderotica) to display your uncensored image, and that's where it lives at the moment. The only "sad commentary" is that you didn't take the time to do your homework i.e. find out where it should have been posted in the first place.

Martin, It is the single most valuable tool a Mac/Poser user can have in his arsenal. I used to change file types by hand until I discovered Maconverter. (I still convert manually for Bryce.) Thanks for the great gift

Larry Weinberg (creator/now co-owner of Poser) and his team wrote the program on a Mac. What with the enormous new popularity of Mac machines and it's OS, I think Mac owners have nothing to worry about regarding Poser 5 and beyond..

Poser was created (written in Code Warrior) on a Mac and ported to Windows. Since it's creator is now it's co-owner, I think it's safe to assume that the Mac format will be well supported.
