Thanks, Clint. I re-opened RDS after calming down last night. I not only managed to avoid throwing a coffee mug through the monitor, I think I also made that basic breakthrough to beginning to understand a new interface. Are there any locations or tutorials for RDS that might help a Newbie with the learning curve? Thanks!

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Could the problem have been as simple as that? Aigh! Thanks for the help! I feel a bit foolish....

Doesn't Poser offset the spatial coordinates of exported geomteries somehow? I've tried to export an .obj from within Poser 4, for use as an MT, only to have a morph which sends the head flying way off to the right or twisting around grotesquely. Did I botch it?

I would add a curl to the tips of the hair, and the black ears, but these are easy. She looks fantastic! The actual object files are the hard part for beginners like myself. Jim, I will be the happiest guy on the block when she is posted! You are a marvel!

So the limitations are more in the realm of animation, and not in the actual ability to import Poser geometries, as I thought. Good. If figures from P3 worked, and Poser 4 figures did not, should a Poser 3 figure shipped with P4 work? I need to actually try these things, instead of bugging everyone. Thanks for your help!

I would like to be able to find the file myself. It was posted here, wasn't it? Or was it the "old" Poser Forum? Thanks for the info, Eshal!

I got the impression somehow that there is a problem in trying to export a whole figure from Poser or in trying to import the same into RDS. Is there no such problem? Has it been fixed? Oh, happy day! Really, though, I haven't worked in RDS yet, so I'm not altogether clear about what I'm actually asking. I guess I'll need to try it and address the Forum with more details. Thanks.
